Third person's POV

It was 2 in the morning when Chaerin's shift finally ended. She was supposed to go home by 12 because it was her original end of shift, but she had to monitor a patient of hers.

"Dra. Ahn, the patient has normal vital signs as I checked. You can rest at home." a nurse told her

"Thank you so much. Just update me whether she'll show adverse effects of the medicine we gave her. Is Dr. Lee done with the heart transplant?" Chaerin asked

"Yes, he is in his office now." nurse

"Okay. Thank you." Chaerin smiled as she left her office

She went to Minho and found him writing something on the folder. Minho smiled at her as she saw Chaerin enter the office.

"Don't worry. The patient was fine." Minho said

"Thank you so much." Chaerin

Minho did the heart transplant which is supposedly Chaerin's job. She got scared and was bothered so she wasn't able to focus properly.

"You should rest." Minho told her

"Yeah. You too. Thank you again Minho." Chaerin said and left the office

She went straight to the parking lot where her car is. She was trying to start the engine but it wasn't working at all. She tried so many times but it never started.

Chaerin decided to take a cab outside the hospital but there was no cab coming. She waited for half an hour, until she decided to walk to the highway where some public transportations is.

She was walking in the dark, and her source of light was the moon only. No matter what she thinks of, she is scared of what might happen. No one will know if she is in danger or if something will happen.

Everything was fine, her darkness is her only problem. Not until she felt that someone was watching and following her. She crossed her arms, hugging herself while walking. She kept praying that she was wrong, but then she stopped walking. And the sound of footsteps behind her stopped as well.

Chaerin started walking again, but this time she took out her phone. She hurriedly texted Hyunjin about her situation.

To: Hyunjin
I don't feel good right now. Someone's following me. Can you pick me up?

There was no reply.

To: Hyunjin
Hyun, please.

Again, no reply.

calling Hyunjin...

He didn't answer.

"Excuse me?" the guy said causing her to stop walking and her heart started beating so fast this time

"Uh... Yes?" she answered trying so hard not to sound scared

"I was wondering if you knew the cafe called estas muerto?" he asked

Chaerin knew what that meant, and there was no cafe called estas muerto, "I'm not sure about that cafe, but there are a lot of cafes around here you can try."

"Oh okay, thank you." the guy smiled at her and pretended to walk away

It was a translation in Spanish, meaning you are dead. Chaerin hurriedly dialed Hyunjin's number a lot of times but no answer. She then decided to call Felix this time.

calling Felix...

[Chaerin-]

"Felix, where are you? I'm near the highway. I have been waiting for you. I'm glad you are on your way. "

[Huh? Did we have an agreement to meet now? I'm on my way home. Can we meet in a place where-]

"Make it fast, will you?" Chaerin said in a shaky voice and she started walking fast

Felix hears her breathing so fast and sounds like rushing [Chaerin, is there something wrong?]

"Yes, I have been waiting. Just be here in five minutes." she said

[I'll be there. Don't drop the call. Open your gps.]

Chaerin was shaking when she opened her gps, she can hear the guy walking fast as well. She then started running so fast.

He heard Chaerin running and crying, [Chaerin?! What's happening?! I'm on my way. I called the police! Just hang on.]

The phone died which made Chaerin cry even more. She fell on the ground because of her heels, but then she realized the guy was standing in front of her.

"What do you want?!" she shouted and cried

"You." the guy showed a creepy smile

"If you want the money and phone, I'll give it to you! Just leave. Please." Chaerin said in a shaky voice

"That's not what I want. I told you what I wanted." the guy answered

"You'll be in so much trouble if you still continue. Please. Just leave. I won't tell the police." she said

"I wonder what the King will feel if he find out you are dead." he chuckled

Chaerin was confused why the guy suddenly brought up Felix.

The guy took out the gun and pointed at Chaerin. Her eyes closed and she kept whispering Felix's name. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a gunshot.

"Chaerin!" Felix called and ran towards her

Her eyes opened and found the guy on the floor, police officers were around and took the guy with them. She started crying again when she saw Felix beside her.

"Let's get you to the hospital." Felix worriedly said and looks like he is about to cry

"I'm fine, I'm not hurt." she answered

Felix hugged her tight, "I don't know what I'll do if something bad happens to you."

He then started crying as he saw Chaerin looking so scared after what happened. He was so worried of her, and rushed to her even though he wasn't feeling well at all.

Little did they know, Hyunjin arrived as well and saw that painful scene he wasn't expecting to see...
