Agatha

I made my way to my car while Kate was walking behind me. She has been quite persistent over the last few days, even with Riverain.

"Agatha." Huminto ako para tignan si Kate. "Never kang pumayag na ihatid kita, Please allow me to drop you off just this once."

"Kate, I have a car. Bakit ba ang kulit mo? Lagi na lang ba natin to pagtatalunan?" Sumasakit ang ulo ko sa dalawa. Hindi na nila ako nilubayan. "Nakakasawa." She became quiet, so I resumed my walk.

Malapit na ako sa sasakyang ng bigla akong hinila ni Kate sa kamay at iniharap sa kanya. She looks at me directly in the eyes with a serious expression on her face. "I have no idea why you have such a high wall, but I will never get tired of bothering you every day."

"Gurang." Lumagpas ang tingin ko kay Kate para tignan ang nasa likod nito. I caught Riverain giving us a serious look. When our gazes met, she walked straight towards me and dragged me to my car.

"Ano ginagawa mo?" She opened the driver's door and tried to drag me inside.

"Ihahatid nga kita." Napailing na lang ako, sa lahat ng ihahatid ako yung nagda-drive.

Sa buong byahe tahimik lang kami hanggang sa makarating kami sa building. Naghihintay kami ngayon ng elevator.

"Now that I'm here, you can go home."

"Hahatid kita hanggang sa taas." She said. Her gaze was locked on the elevator door. What's with her? Nakakapagod na makipagtalo, nakaka-ubos ng energy.

We stepped inside the elevator without saying a word. This is not the Riverain I knew. She has a serious expression the entire time and is incredibly quiet hanggang makarating kami sa harap ng penthouse ko. Dahil wala siyang balak magsalita ay hinayaan ko na. I entered the code to unlock my door. When it was opened midway nang bigla siyang magtanong.

"Kayo ba ni Kate?" She has me confused. Why has she been acting that way the last few days when I thought she was disgusted at me for being a stripper? Iniwan ko siya ng hindi sinasagot.

Nasa living room na ako nang mapansin kong sumunod pala siya, "Pwede ka na umuwi, nahatid mo na ako." Humarap 'to sa'kin na seryoso pa rin ang mukha.

"Nagseselos ako." She said something I didn't expect her to say.

"Why are you acting in this way?" I also gave her the same kind of stare. "If you're just feeling bad because of what you've said to me, it's okay. I am used to it."

"Ano gagawin ko? Hindi ko maiwasan na matakot pag nakikita ko kayo magkasama."

"Makakaalis ka na." She's in her own world again. Hindi ko na naman siya maintindihan.

"Gurang." Nafu-frustrate na ako dahil hindi niya ako pinapakinggan. "Panagutan mo 'ko, dahil mahal na kita." Kita sa kaniya na seryoso siya, diretso na nakatingin sa mata ko.

My heart was racing for some reason. This is the first time those words have been spoken with such sincerity. Is this real or just another game?
