Nandito ako ngayon sa club sa second floor kung saan kita ang stage. I spun the champagne glass in my hands, watching the bubbly liquid swirl around. I took a sip of my drink, then closed my eyes.

Kaya ko ba alisin sa buhay ko 'to? Hindi ba ako magsisisi? Nah, hindi ko dapat pa 'to iniisip. I opened my eyes and stared directly at the stage, watching the lady who was currently performing. I don't blame others for thinking we're dirty. In my opinion, she's a fantastic performer, but I am aware that we are mere prey in the eyes of others.

Pinanood ko ang mga tao na nagkakagulo sa kaniya. Before, I get so excited pag ganiyan karami ang nanonood sa'kin but when Riverain came, I stopped caring and desired only her entire attention.

Pagkatapos ko silang panoorin bumalik ako sa table kung nasaan si Gio na busy makipaglandian sa boyfriend niya. I signaled to him that we needed to talk in private.

"Babe do'n ka muna mag-uusap lang kami."

"Sure." He kissed my best friend then smiled at me. "Excuse me." Tumango ako sa kaniya ng nakangiti.

"Anong meron gurl?" Umupo ako sa tapat niya.

"I think it's time." Kumunot ang noo niya.

"Ay gurl wag pabitin, ano yun?"

"I'll quit." Nanlaki ang mata niya at naibaba niya ang glass na hawak-hawak niya.

"Are you sure? Final na talaga?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya.

"Yes, it's final and matanda na parents ko. I think their jaws need a rest, especially my dad." Me and Gio laugh at my jokes.

"True! Lagi ba naman nanggigigil sayo." I hide my smile with a sip of my champagne glass. "What about River? Hindi nila gusto ang pagiging rainbow mo."

"They cannot have both. And I'm not going to give up Riverain for them. My love life has nothing to do with them, even though they are my family." That's true though. They can try to guide me all they want, but they cannot control how I live.

"Ako naloloka sa buhay mo gurl." Nilagyan niya ulit ng laman ang baso ko. "Aalis ka na right?" I nodded, "what if magbago isip ni River at iwan ka?"

"I still don't have any regrets. I gave it my all, so it's up to her whether or not she takes advantage of me."

"You have a point." Naiiling na sabi niya, "kaya ikaw ang laging luhaan, binibigay mo lahat."

"At least in the end, I don't have regrets, you know. No more what if's."

"Okay okay puro ka regrets regrets." Pagsuko niyang sabi. I know naman na nag-aalala lang sa'kin 'tong bestfriend ko kaya ganiyan siya.

"And if ever na mangyari 'yan, open naman ang club mo for me, right?" Natawa ako sa paraan nang pagtirik ng mata niya. Ang landi talaga ng bestfriend ko.

"Hindi na ako tumatanggap ng gurang." Mataray na sabi niya.

"Ah ganon." I stood up and sat on his lap. Nandidiri na tinignan niya ako.

"Oh my gosh! Rape! Rape!" Natatawa na tumayo ako sa lap niya. Nag-act pa na nasusuka siya. He's really gay. Nang makabalik ako sa upuan ay inirapan niya ako.
