Agatha

I took a one-week off sa club dahil kailangan ko mag-focus sa summer perfume na ilalabas ko. I was on my way to the office when one of my employees called me.

"Miss A, kanina pa nangungulit si Sir Gomez." Nagmamadali na naglakad papunta sa'kin si Sasha.

"Nandito siya?" I asked.

Umiling ito, "nasa line po."

"Okay, connect it to my office."

I walked into my office and picked up the phone. "Good morning, Mr. Gomez." I took a seat and turned on my computer.

"Why did you terminate our collaboration?" I can tell he's annoyed by the tone of his voice right now.

"The audacity to ask me that?" Tinignan ko isa-isa ang email ko. "You're not even trying to help me."

"I was just busy, c'mon."

"So am I. That is why I cancelled our collaboration." I got up nang makasiguro na okay na ang lahat. "Mr. Gomez, you're wasting my time. I hope we never cross paths again. Bye." I hung up the phone before he could respond. Lumabas ako ng office para pumunta sa lab.

"Sasha, pupunta tayo sa shop after ko sa lab so be ready."

I put my lab gown and gloves on. May gusto lang akong i-try. When I had everything I needed, I started combining random stuff. I still didn't get what I wanted after many attempts.

"Miss A 1 pm na po." Napatingin ako sa digital clock sa wall. Hindi ko napansin na dalawang oras na ako kung hindi pa kumatok si Sasha.

"Sorry, susunod na." Maingat na tinabi ko ang mga gamit at ibinalik sa lagayan ang mga ito. Bumalik muna ako sa office para mag-retouch.

My phone rang as I was finishing up my make up. I put an end to what I was doing and answered the phone without checking who it was.

"Hello?"

"Ate!" Nilayo ko ang phone para tignan yung caller kahit alam ko naman kung sino. Great.

"What now?" He never calls unless my parents ask him to so alam ko na bakit napatawag 'to.

"May dinner daw mamaya." I rolled my eyes when I heard his response. Nothing has changed.

"Nah, I'm busy." As I was about to finish, he began talking again.

"Dad said, whether you like it or not, you have to go later for dinner." Fuck it.

"I'll think about it. Bye." Agad ko na binaba ang tawag bago pa siya may sabihin ulit. This ruined my day.

Sasha is sitting in the passenger seat, since I am driving as we make our way to the mall. The dinner is bothering me. I don't believe that it is just a plain dinner. They'll likely bring up me being a dancer at night. I can already see that. Lagi naman ganon nangyayari pag may dinner.

I parked the car and went inside the mall to check out my shop. I need to make sure everything is ready ahead of time. Our first day will be next week.

"Good afternoon Ma'am." Bati ng isa sa mga nag-aayos. There's nothing good in my afternoon.

"So is everything okay here?" I scanned the place.

Tinignan ko isa-isa ang mga display cabinet. "Sasha, make sure dito nakalagay ang male perfume, tapos dito yung sa fem." Pumunta kami sa kabilang side, "Dito naman yung mga natural scent." In the center, there is a tall display glass. "Put the limited edition here."

May inabot sa'kin si Sasha, kinuha ko 'to para tignan kung ano. It is a catalog of our perfumes. I double-checked to make sure everything was correct.

"I think nandito na ang lahat. Update mo na lang ako kung nag ka problema." Binalik ko kay Sasha ang Catalog. "Let's go, I'll drop you off." Nauna na ako naglakad palabas ng shop.
