While he runs over the instructions, his voice fades while my eyes stay glued on him.

"Come with me, and I'll get you suited up. He wants you to leave with him." I'm caught off guard when Barbie comes up to my side in the crowd, pulling me away from Jungkook and the crowd that's gathered.

"I have to do your makeup, so I hope you don't mind, but I promise I'll make you a sexy clown since your face will be on television." Barbie smiles, guiding me up the stairs where I can only imagine what I'll look like by the time our mission begins.

"There, have a look," Barbie replies softly, spinning me around in her pink, plastic chair in her room. She turns me toward her dresser, letting me see myself in the mirror.

My face is colored white, the same as Jungkook's, but my lips, eyes, smile, and all are black just like his.

The only real difference is my outfit, which Barbie let me wear from her wardrobe. Luckily, she said if they get damaged while out on the mission it would be okay, so I don't have to worry as long as I come back in one piece.

I stand up from the seat once taking in my makeup in the mirror and back up some so that I can view my whole outfit.

I have a black choker around my neck with a silver heart and spikes on the edges, and I also have a similar black, spiked bracelet on one of my wrists.

Just like Jungkook, I'm wearing a white, button-up shirt with my sleeves also rolled up and black gloves but with small spikes. I wear a black skirt with black, ripped leggings that expose my bare thighs but are connected underneath my skirt with dark garters. Alongside Jungkook, I also wear a pair of boots but with spikes. I never thought Barbie's style would be so grunge, but I like it.

"Since Jungkook is only taking you when he leaves, I thought it would be perfect for your masks to be similar. It's kind of romantic in a way. He's the king of clowns, and you're the queen." She laughs gently.

"Seriously though, I'm excited for him after everything with Acid. You know, we found out she might have another man who could be the father. I hate to say it, but there's honestly no telling who the baby belongs to. It's sad, but at the same time, she needs to grow up and be responsible." She admits.

"This is my first pregnancy, too, but look at how different we're taking it. Yes, I know we're different people, but I'm planning my child's future, and she just runs off without a plan because she what? Because she feels guilty? It's honestly pathetic. I only hope Ghost gets to her before he loses her." I agree with that, watching her fingers smooth out my hair in the mirror.

She has my hair straight on one side, with the other side being put up into a tight cornrow braid. I've never had my hair done like this before, but I love the way it looks.

"And just one more touch," Barbie comes up behind me, sliding on a short, black, leather jacket. "And you're done. So, what do you think?"

I don't waste a second telling her how much I adore the outfit.

"It's awesome, Barbie. You could seriously be a makeup artist. Did you do Jungkook's, too?" I ask, watching her nod in the mirror with a smirk.

"I'm that good," she gives me a confident wink, and we both laugh.

I'm already more excited about tonight now that I'm dressed up. I have to admit, it looks amazing. I only wish I could take a picture of this, so I won't ever forget it.

"You want me to take your picture?" She asks, causing me to turn around with my eyes wide. "You said it out loud," she eases with a smile, while I drop my head with a sigh. "Don't worry, Vee. It'll be our little secret, but first, why don't you go and come back before we do it? Because although the night is going good, we don't know if you'll want to necessarily remember it once it's over."

That's true. I understand how tragedy can come even here after what Ghost said happened to his older crew, and what happened to Yoongi and Hoseok. I don't think I'll ever forget about that.

"Sounds good to me. I should probably be heading downstairs to find Jungkook, but why does he want me to come with him? I already attended one mission and helped him before." I ask, confused.

I watch her bite her lip as if not sure how to say it. "Vee, I'm going to be upfront with you here, alright? Jungkook is leaving an hour early to prepare you first. You see, tonight isn't one of the ordinary missions..." I find my heart starting to pick up once she lets her sentence fade.

"Tonight, the mission is putting out a sign for the whole city to see. We're spreading a message to the world, but since Jungkook knows you're afraid of heights, he's going to try and prepare you once you get there." She continues talking, but I feel my heart picking up faster and faster.

"Barbie, whatever it is, I can handle it. I won't freak out if I have now to get it in my head and later on, have more time to focus on the message. I promise I'll be okay, but tell me before my heart explodes."

I watch the way her eyes flick to the door and watch her step toward me while placing her hands on my shoulders.

"Vee... if I tell you this, it's only because I don't want you to be upset with me if I don't. After the mission is over and the message has been displayed on the skyscraper, you, Jungkook, and a couple of others will have to flee as soon as you can because the police will be called almost instantly." She begins, wetting her lips.

"Because the building isn't finished at the top, and it's not in use yet, there aren't walls put up on the higher floors. So when you finish displaying the message and the cop sirens start sounding... you'll have to jump off the skyscraper. You'll be BASE jumping, or in other words, you'll be parachuting off the building with the rest of the crew."

And at that moment, I have never felt so much fear, yet adrenaline in my entire life.

Early chapter update! I decided to quickly write this and update since I may not be able to for a few days due to my workload.
