Chapter 43

In front of him, a man lay still on the ground.

"-cking find her or else I'll kill the lot of you!" I heard Kawabata-san shout, even from this distance.

"Yikes, guess there's a bounty on my head." I said as Akutagawa raised an eyebrow.

"Can you really be joking at a time like this?" Akutagawa asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Oh sorry. Be jealous just because at least I'm worth getting killed." I shot at him as Akutagawa let out a very unimpressed sigh.

"Why am I dealing with this." I heard him mutter but I suddenly stood up, coming out from the shadows as I grinned.

Barreling through the window, there were a few cries of shock as I glanced down.

"Kawabata-san. Fancy meeting you here. I think I just received my invitation." I shouted as I Kawabata-san's head immediately shot up as he turned a deadly glare on me making me sneer as I waved.

"You should be dead." Kawabata-san growled at me as I chuckled.

"Sorry to disappoint. I came to return a favour." I shouted just as all these men came racing outside, holding guns up and training them all on me.

"That's not a very nice welcome party." I muttered as I stretched my arms out in front of me, cracking my fingers.

"Well, haven't done this in a while, I'll just get warmed up." I said to myself just as there was cries and screams of shock.

I looked to the entrance of the mansion as I saw a familiar beastly ability, watching as Rashoumon cut through the soldiers.

"The infamous partners of Port Mafia." Kawabata-san seethed out as he spotted Akutagawa in the distance.

"Stealing my grand entrance." I mumbled, rolling my eyes as Kawabata-san turned to the soldiers.

"Do I have to give orders?! Shoot!" He shouted as I grinned.

"Oh no you don't."

I grunted a little after flipping the last man over my shoulder, slamming him into the ground.

The shiny tiles beneath him cracked like a spider web as I continued to push him down with my ability.

"Where did that bastard go?" I heard a voice say behind me as Akutagawa walked up to me, coughing.

"Hey, I'm the one torturing the living shit out of him." I warned Akutagawa as he didn't even reply and just walked through the archway.

I rolled my eyes but caught up with him, not even bothering with the few soldiers who were willing to get back on their feet after a beating as I just slammed them back into the ground using my ability.

I focused on my senses, listening for some sort of noise.

Warning bells rattled in my head as I turned around and saw Kawabata-san coming straight towards us from behind.

Shoving Akutagawa aside, I caught the bullet as soon as the sound of a gun being fired filled the air.

Kawabata-san's eyes were hard on me as I glared at him.

"Not falling for the same trick twice." I said as Kawabata-san kept staring at us coldly.

"All you from the Port Mafia deserve to die." Kawabata-san growled as I glared at him.

"Unfortunately, that won't be happening anytime soon so why don't you retire first?" I said, grinning like a fool as the face of the man in front of me went bright red.
