Chapter 31 - Valentine's Day

Niall’s POV:

Something was ringing...I think it was a phone or something...I just want to sleep, I’ll let Allie get it.

Jesus Christ it was still ringing! That’s when I realised that my arm wasn’t wrapped around Allie’s body...it was wrapped around something but not Allie. I opened one eye and saw something furry, what the heck? Damn it the phone was still ringing! Where the hell was Allie?

Ok, one thing at a time, Niall I told myself. I was going to go mad soon. I quickly got up and shuffled over to the coffee table, from where all the blasted music was coming from. I raised my eyebrow as I picked up my phone, and recognised the ringtone for the alarm,

You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy

When skies are grey!

“What the hell?” I whispered to myself as I switched it off and read the message that popped up on my screen:

Happy Valentine’s Day Nialler!!! I’m totally gonna win this bet! ~ Allie xxx <3

So that’s what this was about! I had almost forgotten that it was Valentine’s Day! Well, if this was all she had, then I was the winner...but then I remembered the furry being on my bed. Turning back, I found a huge teddy bear. I laughed as I picked it up, it was probably just a smidge smaller than Allie! There was a heart shaped card right on top of it. I picked it up and read it:

Be my valentine? You’ve got a game to play first though...someone should knock on the door any minute, that’s your first clue!! I love you Niall!

Now I was worried that I might actually lose the bet...and Allie would never let me forget if she won! I started getting dressed but I was barely finished when someone did knock on the door. I opened it, hoping that it was Allie, but it was actually one of the hotel’s employees. She blushed when she saw that I was topless and handed me a pizza box, “You have a very sweet girlfriend, Niall,” she managed to squeak out before she hurried into the elevator.

Well that was odd. I was guessing she was a fan? I shrugged as I opened the pizza box, I’d take pizza at any time of day! To my surprise, there was a note written on the inside of the box:

Is this cheesy enough? Haha :D Ok, clue #1:if you wanna find me, you gotta find a room that’s got a piano in it...

Looking at the pizza, I pulled a face. It was full of cheese...I guess that was the point, it was really cheesy. I rolled my eyes and continued to get dressed. I had no idea which room had a piano in it. I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Louis, asking him to come help me out with something. Out of all the lads, he was probably the one who’d be the most willing to help me out with something like this.

It only took him five minutes, and when I opened the door a very sleepy Louis was leaning on the door frame. I showed him Allie’s first clue and he chuckled, quickly agreeing to help me, after I agreed to make him some coffee. I was practically bouncing everywhere, I really wanted to find Allie and see what she was up to. Soon enough he was done, and after about ten minutes of searching fruitlessly, we had to ask the receptionist downstairs.

She gave us a weird look and pointed across the lobby, and sure enough, there was the piano. I felt myself becoming bright red and quickly walked towards it, mumbling, “We’re such dumbasses,” to Lou. He laughed and nodded, he was enjoying this more than I was. Stuck between two keys of the piano was a red piece of paper, which read:

I bet it took you quite a while to find me....clue #2: find me under a jacket in a closet...which lad is known for leaving his clothes on the floor, Niall??
