There was silence. She looked at me as if she couldn't believe what I had just said. I honestly couldn't believe it either. I instantly felt bad but I am tired of apologizing for the truth.

"Well, I see how you really feel. I see how it really is." She stormed out of the cell and I didn't care. Why should I feel bad for being honest? It's the truth, Papi had forgotten about Rayna except for when Rayna can occasionally get her on the phone.

I decided to go to the day room and call my mom.

"Hello?"

"Hi, mom."

"Hey there my sweet baby. How are you?"

"I'm good, mom. What are you up to?"

"Oh, nothing. Just sitting here watching my stories."

As I was talking to my mom, Ja'Zaye walked up to me.

"I need to  speak with you."

I covered up the mouth piece of the phone.
"I'm on the phone."

She hung up the phone.

"Are you f***ing serious? That was my mom."

"Let's go or I'll drag you."

I looked at her with a daring stare.
"Well you'd better get to dragging because I'm not going anywhere with you."

She looked at me and opened her mouth to reveal a blade.
"Let's go."

I hesitantly followed her to her cell. She closed the door.

"Take that blade out of your mouth." I said sternly.

She removed the blade from her mouth and sat it underneath her pillow.
"Listen, I'm sorry for threatening you."

Before I knew it, I charged at her.
"B***h! You really gonna threaten me with a f***in' blade?
We started tussling, she was trying to calm me down and I was just so enraged. She managed to get over me, holding me down with her knees on my hands.

"What the f*** is wrong with you?"

"B***H! YOU PLAYED ME."

"I didn't play you. I am getting you out of here. Give me time to explain."

"GET OFF OF ME!" I yelled.

"I'm not moving until you listen to me. The only way to get you out of here is for me to be out there. You can't stop trusting me now. We've come too far."

"Trust you for what? Why would I?"

"Because I f***ing love you. That's why!"
