Chapter 48

The pastas from upstairs nodded before running to get their weapons from their rooms. Slenderman looked back at his brothers.

"I fear it isn't what I think it is." He teleported away to grab the dagger. He needed to kill him to save her and now there was no room for failure.

"Can I come?" Sally innocently asked as she looked up at L.J.

"No my little gumdrop." He picked her up. "You stay here and watch over the mansion with your uncles. Make sure they don't kill each other." He chuckled.

"But Y/N needs me!" She pouted. "It's been two weeks!"

"I know it's been hard for us, especially for you, but Y/N wouldn't want us to put you in any sort of danger."

"I can defend myself!" She insisted. "I can kill Zalgo if you let me go with you!"

"Trust me that we'll bring her back in less than an hour." He assured her. "Just wait a little longer Sal, then you can hug her all you want."

"Okay," She silently walked back to the living room.

The pastas arrived back at the entrance, waiting for Slenderman. Once he arrived, he made sure his tendrils touched the pastas. He turned around to look at his brothers. "We'll bring her back, I promise."

Unknowingly to them, Sally had quietly walked behind L.J and softly touched his leg, making her teleport to the under realm with them.

"I'll warn Zalgo that you're here." They heard a voice from behind them announce. Dark Link was just about to leave the throne room.

Painter eyed the room. "So Zalgo changed the decor huh?"

"Never mind that, why are there two thrones now," Hoodie pointed out.

Slenderman stared at it while his blood ran cold. He feared his worst nightmare had come true.

"You don't think that's for Y/N, right," Jeff used his knife to point to the second throne.

Slenderman remained silent, not moving his gaze off the thrones. If that was true, he didn't know how to break the spell. He hoped she wouldn't attack them for their sake.

L.J finally looked down as he noticed the girl. "Sally? What the heck are you doing here!" He whispered.

"Y/N needs me!"

Zalgo appeared sitting on his throne as he smirked. "Slenderman, I'm surprised to see you and your so-called army here. Although I have to admit, it took you long enough to figure out you could teleport here."

L.J pulled her behind so Zalgo wouldn't notice her. "Stay here," he whispered before looking back at Zalgo.

She kept put until Y/N finally arrived at the scene. Right away, the pastas felt something off with her. L.J glanced back at Sally before whispering, "wait".

Y/N's intentions were then revealed and soon L.J found himself shielding Sally. It wasn't until everyone was down that Y/N finally noticed them. As soon as she separated him from Sally, he was frozen with fear for the first time. He couldn't believe Y/N was about to kill her.

He didn't notice how her body stiffened when Y/N made eye contact with the child. L.J was about to go back to the child when he saw Jeff stabbing her in the stomach. She froze before teleporting in front of Slenderman to take the hit.

"Shit," he muttered as he widened his eyes. He couldn't believe what just happened. He picked up the child to make sure she wouldn't run toward the enemy. Y/N laid there lifeless as Zalgo made his way toward her. Slenderman used his tendrils once again to teleport them back to the mansion before Zalgo could hurt them.
