"I won't believe it until I see her body!" Trender exclaimed. "He has to be lying!"
"We have to go back there," Masky spoke out. "If she's alive, she'll need our help!"
"WE CAN'T!" Slenderman roared. His static became unbearable to the point the pastas had to cover their ears. "Zalgo threaten to kill you if we return. As much as I wish we could bring her back, we need to think of a strategic plan!"
"Fuck the plans, let's kill Zalgo first then we can search for her again or force him to tell us!" Jeff yelled.
"We can also die you fucking dumbass!" Liu pointed out.
"Shut the fuck up Liu, you barely did shit during the battle!"
"I can say the same to you," Masky muttered.
"No one was talking to you, idiot!"
They were all busy arguing that they didn't notice Sally leaving the room, crying on the stairs. L.J teleported in front of Sally before embracing her in his arms.
"Don't worry, my little gumdrop. She'll come back to us."
Sally cried harder and held him tighter as if he was going to leave too. L.J sighed before teleporting them to her room on her bed to have some privacy.
"I m-miss her so m-much!" She stuttered. "She can't be dead!"
"I know Sally." L.J ran his fingers through her hair. "Remember when we thought she died but then she appeared out of nowhere?" She nodded as her cries calmed down. "I'm sure it'll happen again. We all know how strong she is."
Sally chuckled as she wiped her tears. "She can kick your ass."
L.J nodded his head with a smile. "She sure can."
(~The Next Day~)
Slenderman stood in front of the broken pillars. He tried using them to go to the underworld, but their ability had disappeared. He no longer had access to the underworld.
He returned to the mansion to share the news. If she was alive, they couldn't save her anymore.
For the following week, the mansion was mostly silent. Slenderman was locked inside his office, trying to search for any book that could help them save Y/N. Half of the pastas stayed inside their rooms except for going out to eat while the other half committed massacres to let out their frustrations. Trender had stopped making clothing knowing he had lost the chance to make clothing for his niece while Splendor stayed with Sally who became quiet. He had promised to look after her before she went into the battle. Offenderman was mostly gone throughout the morning and only returned to the mansion during the night when everyone was asleep. Ben kept trying to search for Dark Link seeing as he failed that mission back when Y/N was still with them. He couldn't help but think things would have been different if he searched harder for Dark Link.
"I bet she knew she was going to die before she went to the battle," Splendor spoke as he sat down at the dining table with his brothers including Slenderman. He was surprised his brothers would agree to have tea late at night. "She made me promise to take care of Sally before she left."
Trender nodded his head, "I remember that too."
Slenderman looked up from his tea to his brother with disbelief. "Don't tell me you're losing hope already."
Splendor sighed as he looked away from his brother's gaze. "The last time we thought she died, she came back to us within a day. It's been a week already Slendy. It's hard to believe she's alive without a sign."
"We can't give up now, brother."
Offenderman scoffed at him. "Don't tell me all of a sudden you care for her now."
