Y/n's pov

I was revealing my secret to Luz until a crow landed near us

"Young lady where have you been I've been waiting for my coffee for 10 minutes!"

I heard my dad's voice as I chuckled

"Alright I'm coming home, I was just hanging out with my new found friend Luz!"

"Well my bring my coffee first, then you can spend the rest of the day with her"

"Alrighty" The crowd flew and I prepared myself for my trip home

"Oh and Luz, can we finished the rest of our conversation later?" I looked at the dark brown haired girl at my back

"Oh yes! Sure" She said looking at me with a bright smile

"Can we meet here later before evening? " I asked as she nodded

"Alright see ya later!" I said to her as I walked away

Luz's pov

As (y/n) walked away I started to head home to. But as I was turning around I heard a faint growl behind the bushes, I got my guard up, preparing for the attack on who was inside the bush

I got closer and closer until someone attacked me behind I looked at it and it was a horrifying demon

I was reaching for my glyphs in my pocket but the monster grabbed both of my wrist tossed me to a nearby boulder, I grunt at the feeling of pain in back

The demon came closer and closer to me, ready to devour me in any given moment

But I never felt pain, besides my back of course it still hurts like hell

I opened my eyes and saw (y/n)!

My hero! I thought as I watched her fight the demon until it desapeared into ashes, she looked over me with a worry expression on her face

"Luz!" She said running to my side "Are you okay!? I'm so sorry I couldn't come here quicker, this is all my fault!" She started accusing her self

I grabbed her hand as she helped me sit up

"Don't blame yourself I was the one who brought us here, and I thought this place was safe until that thing came along" I giggled on my own words

She relaxed a little bit before asking me

"Can you still be able to walk?" I tried standing up but I failed without screaming in pain, I almost fall but luckily (y/n) was there to catch me just in time

"Don't pressure yourself to much in walking, I could carry you home" I blushed at that thought

"I- ahh, no it's okay! Oh look I can walk now see!?" I tried standing up again but I failed, again

(Y/n) walked over me and then lifting me bridal style

She smiled at this as I was in a blushy mess

"Am I heavy?"
