"Because I'm used to it!"
"That's what your brain makes you believe but not your body." He picked up a pomegranate seed to admire it. "You recall I told you, you have special abilities due to your bloodline. To make the story short, your body is trying to fight the spell I cast on you the second time you woke up. Unfortunately for you, you only have one more day until the spell finally consumes you." He finally placed the seed in his mouth before looking at my reaction.
"What spell are you talking about!"
He placed more seeds in his hand to eat them. "A spell that influences everything about you. Your thoughts and beliefs will adapt to mine. I think humans call it 'turning you evil' or "your dark side unleashes" or something like that. You'll be capable of killing the pastas, which you'll do, and you'll finally respect and adore me."
I shook my head in disbelief. "No, I won't allow that to happen! The others will eventually figure out a way to save me!"
Zalgo placed his bowl back on his table. "It's cute that you assume you can even reverse the spell. Hate to break it to you but there is no way to bring you back."
I widen my eyes in fear. "They will save me before the spell turns me or they'll kill me before I hurt them!"
"You'll gain some of my power, plus I doubt they'll even get to touch you before you kill them." He grinned. "It should be in its final stage though so I wouldn't be surprised if you can't walk by the afternoon. Your body will be so weak that it'll eventually accept its fate. That reminds me, your throne will be ready by tomorrow. Everything is falling onto that vision that I showed you."
I tried to think of ways to prevent this, but remembering the vision he showed me made it impossible to think of a solution.
"You know what's depressing darling? The pastas could have arrived here at any time but they haven't."
"What are you talking about?" I whispered but loud enough for him to hear me. Was Slenderman alright with me joining Zalgo?
"Tell me, little one, what did Slenderman say about arriving and leaving the under realm?"
"The pillars are the only way to get in and out," I answered, not knowing where this was going to lead to.
"And remind me how we both left and returned to the underworld?"
I looked down in shock at his question. Slenderman had access to this realm and he didn't know it.
"You know, I don't blame Slenderman for his lack of knowledge. After all, the under realm can be teleported for a short time after my awakening. I believe Slenderman only has three days left to visit before his access to the under realm is gone." He turned his gaze at the glass-stained windows. "Too bad the pillars were destroyed because they were the only way to arrive here after that time was up."
I pulled my hair in distress as I felt I couldn't breathe. Zalgo just confessed how the others could potentially save me, but there was no way for me to communicate this to them.
"If he does manage to figure it out, let's hope he doesn't bring his pathetic army because that would falter him. I don't even know why you care so much about him. He wanted to kill you and the pastas once I was dead."
I recalled the time Zalgo took me to the future and Slenderman had confessed that. I bit my bottom lip as a way for me to prevent crying. Everything was going downhill and I couldn't do anything to stop it.
"You planned this all along, didn't you?"
"I have to confess I'm quite clever, my darling." He leaned forward again as he grinned at me. "I won."
