Once he was gone, Dark Link broke the silence. "How can you deal with him?"
"I honestly don't know," I answered. "I've only been here for a few days."
Dark Link studied me as I kept picking on my food.
"So you're Y/N?" I nodded. "Y/N L/N? Slenderman's proxy?"
"Ex proxy." I corrected him. "I had to save the other pastas and by doing so, I sacrificed my freedom. I now work for Zalgo."
"Surely there must be some kind of escape." He stood up as he studied the dead garden.
"There were pillars that would teleport you to a forest. Unfortunately, Zalgo destroyed them when I attempted to flee."
Zalgo came back and stood behind me. I didn't bother to turn around. I paid attention to the dead garden instead.
"It appears I have to leave now. The oracle has been spotted and I do not wish to chase such being."
I rolled my eyes before he grabbed my chin to kiss my forehead. I snapped my head away from him after he did that.
"I shall hopefully see you in a few hours my love. That reminds me, I have a surprise for you in two days."
"Geez, I can hardly wait," I said with a montane tone. Dark Link gave me a confused look before he looked at Zalgo who was already glaring at him.
"Hurt her and you're dead," he warned him again before he walked away. I turned my gaze towards him and saw him next to the same hooded figure that I saw on my first days here. That's when I noticed he was taller and slimmer than most of Zalgo's minions. They both teleported away leaving Dark Link and me alone.
"Are you guys a thing?" He asked.
"Fuck no!" I quickly answered.
He smirked. "So that means I can call you babe?"
"Oh god, you remind me of some of the pastas. Some of them had an individual pet name for me."
"In that case, you can just call me Dark for short," He looked at me as if he was debating on telling me something. "How did it work? I mean working for Slenderman while other killers were there."
I didn't realize a small smile was on my face as I remembered what a typical day looked like.
"Well, usually the proxies and I went on morning patrols to kill any trespassers in the forest. By the time we came back, we had breakfast with the other pastas. There were times when we didn't have much to do so we just did our own thing. By night we were free to go out and kill, do a late-night mission, or rest." I explained. I looked at him before smiling. "You would have gotten along with Ben or Jeff. I can see you three yelling in the living room because one of you 'cheated' and I would shut you guys up."
My smile disappeared when I realized this was never going to happen. If I did manage to escape, Zalgo would be able to find me and hurt the others.
"That could have happened if we found you sooner." I softly whispered before looking at his widened eyes.
"So that's why Ben kept following me around! I assumed he wanted to fight me or annoy me so I kept disappearing whenever he was close to catching me." He took off his hat and ran his fingers through his hair. "Shit, I could have avoided being stuck here."
But I couldn't.
"If we can't get out, maybe someone can get in and help us escape! Have your friends tried finding a way to save you from here?"
"I don't know anymore," I admitted. "Zalgo showed me that they were fine and Ben was surprised to see me alive. If we do manage to escape, Zalgo can easily teleport to our location just as long as we have his stupid mark on our shoulder."
