I kept silent as I sat down before he pushed the chair closer to the table.

"It's odd that you brought a guest, sir." She faked a chuckle. "What would you guys like to drink?"

"Fetch us the usual, Amelia. If you don't mind."

The girl nodded. "Of course, Zalgo." She then walked away.

"You guys must be close if you're on a first-name basis."

Zalgo smirked as he leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Am I sensing jealousy, my petal?"

I scoffed. "You wish. I'm just curious if she knows who you are seeing as immortals aren't allowed to talk to humans."

"But you interacted with immortals for years and you're a mortal," he pointed out. "She knows I'm magical and believes I'm satan."

"Satan is probably better than you," I muttered.

"Anyways, I assumed it would be ideal for you to have a change of scenery. The under realm can be a bit boring if you're not magical which is why my minions are building a training room for you to enjoy. I know how much you relish working out and I thought I could make the under realm feel more at home."

"Nothing will make it home," I said as I kept my gaze towards Amelia who was coming back. She had a bottle of what seemed like wine and two cups. She placed the cups in front of us before filling the cups halfway with the red wine.

"What can I get for you guys?" She asked as she got her notepad out.

"I'll get the regular, darling." Zalgo smiled at her before looking at me.

"I'll get the uh..." I quickly scanned the menu in front of me. "(Lunch choice)" I finished before giving her the menu.

"Alright, I'll be right back." She took another glance at Zalgo before walking away.

"It appears the poor girl has a crush on you." I softly spoke as I watched her leave.

"But I only have eyes for you, my dear." Zalgo placed his hands on top of mine.

"It's the least of my worries." I pulled my hands back before taking a sip of the sweet wine.

I've never had alcohol besides that one time when I met Derek. Chances were, I would have a low tolerance seeing as I wasn't used to drinking.

But today I didn't care. I was tired of being in the under realm with no contact with anyone besides Zalgo. I wanted to forget all of my problems for a few hours.

"I also wanted to tell you that your first mission begins tomorrow. Well, technically the day after tomorrow seeing as it will be carried out during midnight."

"The hell am I going to do? Kill people? You can easily do that." I drank more of the wine seeing as I felt thirst all of a sudden.

"I'd rather surprise you. It shouldn't take more than five minutes to complete if done correctly."

"Five minutes?" I raised my eyebrow. "What can I possibly do in five minutes let alone how will I be able to leave the under realm?"

Zalgo barely took his first sip of the wine before he responded. "I'll take you to the area myself and I'll possibly be there to assist you in case anything goes wrong."

I finished the wine in my cup before Zalgo filled it up again with his magic.

"I'm glad to see you're relishing my favorite wine."

I let out a sigh as I looked toward the buildings through the windows. I wasn't used to seeing the city, but I couldn't help but remember the night Derek had proposed to me. Although it's a different location, both were fancy restaurants with a view of the buildings.

Then I remembered Derek telling me I was a slave and how I was angered based on what he had said. If I asked him what he meant, I could have maybe gotten answers sooner.

It took a while for the food to be ready and by the time I had finished eating, I had already consumed four glasses of wine, enough to make me feel drunk.

Amelia came back to pick up our plates but while Zalgo was busy talking to her, they both failed to notice I had a knife hidden in my thighs.

She kept on trying to make her laugh sound cute. It irritated me seeing as it reminded me of Rachel and Derek.

I kept tapping my foot as I felt a whole wave of emotions flood in. I looked at the buildings as a way for me to forget them. I wanted to cry. I wanted to yell. I needed to kill.

"Y/N?"

I didn't automatically look at him seeing as I wanted to calm myself first.

"Are you alright, my dear?" My E/C eyes looked at him before they landed on the girl.

She had an annoyed look which irritated me further.

"Don't you have dishes to take care of?" I pointed at our empty ones.

"Right, I'll get those out of your way." She got the empty plates and walked away.

Zalgo smirked at me as he leaned back on his chair. "I must confess, jealousy does look good on you."

"I'm not jealous," I gritted out as I was fidgety with my legs.

"You can try to convince yourself but it's all written in your face, darling." Zalgo grabbed my hand and kissed it while Amelia was coming back. She had seen what he did.

"I-Is there anything else you guys would like." She purposely ignored my gaze and looked at Zalgo.

Maybe it was the alcohol that made me feel this way, but I couldn't stand her any longer. I have to put her in her place.

I got up and slammed her head onto the table as I grabbed her neck from behind. I  had broken her nose.

"My nose!" She cried. Zalgo didn't move an inch. On the contrary, he was enjoying the scene.

I lifted her head back and held the knife to her throat.

"I hate how you look like Sally. I hate how you remind me of Rachel and most importantly I hate how you're acting around us."

I dug the knife closer to her neck, enough to draw some blood.

"Zalgo! Please help me! Your friend is insane!"

"You must be foolish if you believe you can get away with insulting the future queen of the under realm."

I slowly slit her throat as her chokes echoed throughout the room. I stared at the blood on the table as her corpse fell to the floor. I didn't realize what I had done until Zalgo started clapping.

"Bravo, my love. I quite enjoyed your performance."

I dropped the knife as I looked at the dead body on the floor. For some reason, I no longer saw Amelia's face. Instead, I saw Sally dead on the floor.

"Sally?" I whispered as I got on my knees. "Sally! I'm so sorry!" I cried.

As soon as I touched her cheek, she turned back into Amelia. I closed my eyes for a few seconds before opening them only to see Amelia still. Sally had disappeared.

"What have I done?" I whispered. "I'm turning insane."

Zalgo got down next to me before placing his hand on my shoulder. "Hey, it's alright. It's not like she's the first person you killed." He reached out his hand to burn the body in front of us.

I stared at the burning body in fear. All of a sudden I was afraid that Sally could die and I wouldn't be able to defend her.

Zalgo helped me stand up before he turned around to make sure no one had witnessed anything. He made the table and any evidence of our presence disappear.

He pulled my chin up with his hand to make me look at him. For the first time, I felt peace and comfort with him. I had forgotten everything he had done to me.

"Let's head back home, my love."
