she'd have a kid of her own. Sure she
sometimes babysat her niece and nephews,
but not...
You and Natasha were at the park. Melina, Yelena and Alexei decided to visit you guys, and now you were all on a little family outing to the park. Knowing you, Natasha packed bread so you can feed the ducks. She was right to do so because the first thing you did when you got there was to run towards them. She knew you loved feeding them.
Melina and Natasha were walking behind you, talking about everything and anything, while Alexei and Yelena chased you around on the grass. You were trying to escape the tickle monster but failed miserably, and your giggles could be heard by the two older women behind.
You managed to escape though and ran back to hide behind Melina, which caused her to laugh at your cuteness.
"Protect me mommy!" you said as you opened your arms towards Natasha showing her to pick you up which she did.
"Always my little darling always." she kissed your temples and you hide your face in her neck as you saw Yelena and Alexei approach. Natasha set you down on the ground, you ran to hide behind her legs, thinking 'if I can't see them they can't see me'.
"Where did my little bean go?" Yelena said looking around as if she didn't spot you behind Natasha.
"You can't get me now Auntie Yelena I have mommy to protect me!" you said from your hiding spot, only showing your face quickly to stuck your tongue out at her. All the adults watched the interaction, holding back their laugh while Yelena kneeled in front of you.
"Oh you do now, don't you." she teased.
"Linaaa!" you ran and threw yourself at Melina again, who gladly picked you up again and walked to a bench for all of you to sit down. She sat you down on her lap while Natasha pulled out a snack and water from her bag for you. You quietly took it and had a little break. You were just resting against Melina's chest when you noticed the bread in Natasha's bag that was still open, so once you decided you were done resting, you dragged your mother towards the duckies by tugging on her sleeve. But she noticed your hair falling out of your braids and decided to fix it before letting you feed the ducks like you wanted.
"Y/N come here! Your hair in falling out of your braids." Natasha said, stopping you in your tracks. You were still pulling but as Natasha was stronger so you two didn't budge. So instead you turned around, gripped one of her hands with your two little hands and tried pulling her towards you while taking steps backward. It didn't work. Eventually you stopped.
"But mummy the duckies." you whined. She quickly picked you up and placed you on her hip before sitting back on the bench. She placed you on her lap, your back facing her, and she began. She took out your braids and sectioned your hair again before starting braiding. You tried to stay still, but you were only getting more and more impatient, so you started to try to wiggle your way out.
"Sweetheart, it'll take only a minute. Your hair is in your face, you won't be able to see the duckies." She was trying to do two french braids. Keyword here : trying. You kept moving around."Y/N hold still, I'm trying to braid your hair, little one. Now stop moving or it'll take longer. I'm almost done, darling."
"Mama stop." you whined again.
"Hush child, stop fussing, I'm only braiding your hair."
"But I wanna feed the duckies mama. Auntie Yelena tell her to let me feed the duckies." you whined once more.
"Natasha, Y/N wants to feed the duckies now." Yelena said looking up from whatever she was doing to tease her sister.Natasha just rolled her eyes at her.
Natasha placed one hand on your shoulder while the other held a braid. She leaned forward, kissed your temple and say "Y/N I'm done in a second. Can you wait a little longer for me please?"
"Only if you promise we will feed the duckies again tomorrow." You turned a little to look at her and made your famous puppy eyes, you knew she couldn't resist.
"Wha- Never mind, I promise we will feed the duckies again tomorrow." You smiled excited and Natasha smiled back. She finished your braid a second later, just like she said she would, and she let you dragged her to the bridge that was going over the pond. You looked over and watched the ducks in the water. Alexei was giving tiny pieces of bread for you to feed the ducks, while Natasha held you high enough so you could throw the bread into the lake. All the ducks gathered around the little pieces of bread, and you continued. Yelena joined you as Melina also gave her also some bread for her to throw. Near the end of the afternoon you were getting tired, so Natasha decided to head home, and as she turned around from the duckies you waved goodbye.
