Your alarm rang. You slowly opened your eyes and when you noticed it was still dark outside, you groaned and rolled facing the other side. You laid there for five minutes before your alarm rang again. You threw your cover off you, wrong move. The cold air made you immediately regret your decision. You jumped out of bed and ran to your closet, you grabbed some clothes and put them on as fast as possible. You packed your bag and tiptoed out of your room, and you began making breakfast as soon as you reached the kitchen, starting with coffee because it was way too early to be awake.

The compound was again very silent. Well, probably because it was 6:50, but still, someone was always awake for some reason. Not thinking much of it, you put on your shoes and grabbed your coat. You checked you had everything you needed in your bag one last time, and you left, picking up your headphone you had left on the coffee table the night before. The streets were empty, it was freezing and still dark outside. You rushed to the nearest bus station and waited. You took out your book, doing some last minute studying for an English test you had later that day.

Once on the bus, you opened your phone for the first time since you woke up and saw something from your mom.

"Great." You sighed and slumped back into your seat as the school came into the view.

The day went by slowly but at least you aced your test. You got home late that night, around 7:30 after some studying at the library. It's not like someone was waiting for you anyway. You opened the front door and closed it once you stepped inside. You dropped your bag next to the kitchen table. You sat, and opened Spotify, so you could have music in the background and not be sitting in total silence. You grabbed your books out of your bag and finished your homework. You tried to occupy yourself, you read, you put on a movie that you didn't end up watching. Then, came dinner. You ate then did the dishes, leaving the kitchen spotless... again.

You went into the bathroom to get ready for bed, you brushed your teeth and washed the dirt from your face. By the time you were done, you were getting a bit tired, so you just decided to call it a night. You made one last stop before your room : Natasha's room.

You opened the door and looked around. Everything was just as she left it the previous morning. The bed was still made, meaning she didn't sleep here, and your paper was still on her bedside table, untouched. She didn't even come home.
