A Preview

I'm writing a new series and would love some criticism on what I can do to improve it and know if it's good. So here's a preview of it, I figured I would put the preview here considering this is one of my biggest series and this will be a tie in with it!

"Come on Danny, what's the worst that could happen?"(???)

A boy in a red beret asked a ravenette who seemed deeply uncomfortable with the idea he was talking about

"...I could die."(Ravenette)

The black haired boy responded looking to the only girl there (and the only one with common sense) as if to ask her to help him out here

"Actually. I'm with Tucker here, it's not like it's even working, the worst that could happen is you trip inside there."(Girl)

"I'm not getting out of this am I?"(Ravenette)

"No you aren't."(Tucker)

"Alright fine.. But I'm putting on a hazmat suit-"(Ravenette)

"As long as we can take your dad's face off it that's fine."(Girl)

That startled a laugh out of the black-haired boy who shook his head to stop his laughing as he grabbed a hazmat suit pulling off the truly horrifying image of his father's face and getting into the suit zipping up the back halfway

"Sam- Can you help me out?"(Ravenette)

"Sure thing Danny.. Although maybe we could put on a different symbol?"(Sam)

The newly named Sam said, pulling out a symbol that seemed to be a ghostly black D with a phantom like P inside of it.

"What is that?"(Danny)

"DP, Danny Phantom! What? It's a portal to a ghost world, you can't be the only one making terrible puns!"(Sam)

"That's fair!"(Danny)

It was possible to hear his smile as he stuck the symbol onto his chest and walked into the big Hexagonal portal stumbling a bit and using his hand to stabilize himself using the wall and that's when it happened. The electricity coursing around him and through his veins. The scream being pulled from his throat as he felt the volts coursing through him it felt as if he was being torn apart being pulled two ways at once. Like life and death themselves were pulling him apart from each side of him. He felt his body hit the floor as he drifted out of consciousness. He heard his parent's worried footsteps and his mothers scream of shock and his father yelling

"DANNY!"

When he awoke everyone was gone. He heard his parents talking upstairs.. Which he shouldn't have been able to do.. His hearing isn't that good.. He stumbled out of the portal clutching his chest in pain. It felt as if his heart was missing and his body was frozen over. A gust of blue left his mouth leaving him confused as he stumbled, tripping over his feet and catching himself. He looked up at the thing he used to catch himself and his eyes widened
