Narrative:

"It shall never happen. Not as long as I am alive and living in this house," Hiroyuki said sternly.

His son had visited him one day, bringing along with him bad news. He was going to move back in? And with Dona Mondello? Preposterous!

Kimura sighed at his father and leaned back into his seat.

"You wanted me to move back in, didn't you?" he asked the old man.

"Not with that stranger of a woman, you won't," Hiroyuki replied.

"Father, you know I will end up doing what I want, anyways. I did not come here to ask for your permission but to inform you of Dona and I moving here by next week," Kimura stated in a matter of fact.

"You are making a very big mistake, Kimura,"

"I don't think so. You're right about her being a stranger. None of us are sure of who she is and that is why I am patiently waiting for Shotaro's return. In the meantime, I won't lie if I said she is very important to me right now. I have actual feelings for her, father. Real ones. And no matter what happens, I'm keeping her with me. Either as my wife or as my prisoner, depending on Shotaro's returns,"

Hiroyuki didn't say anything and raised his teacup for Kimura to serve him more tea, which the latter respectfully did.

"See it this way, father," Kimura continued. "If she is indeed innocent, then there is nothing to worry about and you can learn to stop hating on her for being a stranger, while you two would be living under the same roof. On the other hand, having her here will make it easier for us to keep an eye on her at all times. And if Shotaro returns with bad news while she's here with us, it'll make things even better for us to handle. Then, her nightmare begins. We've already discussed all this more than once. I feel like I am constantly repeating myself to you, father. It's tiring,"

"Mm. You've said it yourself. When the time comes and you find out she's a cheat, don't chicken out,"

"You know what I hate the most? Having my feelings played with. Trust me, I will most definitely not chicken out," Kimura replied very seriously, the simple thought of it making his jaw clench.

"Fine..."
