"What I don't get is why he wouldn't just give up on her already. She's too toxic for him", Y/N said behind her hand as she chewed her food. She and Mira were enjoying their lunch break and gossiping about a couple Dolores told Mirabel about.

"I know, she's too prideful for him. I mean, I totally get the 'I'm not a cheap girl' mindset but what she said was a little bit below the belt", Mira nodded, waving her fork in emphasis. Y/N nodded in agreement.

"I pity the guy. What was his name?", She asked.

"I don't know, something that ends with 'tan'", Mira shrugged before she shoved a spoonful in her mouth.

Tia Cora then went out of the shop.

"Come have lunch with us, Tia!", Y/N called out. Tia Cora just chuckled.

"No thank you, mija. I'm going on a date"

The teenage girls gasped. Y/N's hand went to cover her mouth while Mira whirled around to take a good look at the old lady.

"A date??"

"With who??"

"Where?"

"Since when did you go out on dates??"

Tia Cora rolled her eyes as she laughed in amusement.

"Let an old lady have her secrets", she said waving them off. "Buh-bye!", she yelled behind her as she started walking down the hill.

"Wait no!"

"Tia Cora we need answers!"

The girls groaned when Tia Cora just laughed and kept walking.

"Who do you think it is??", Mira asked, craning her head to see if someone was waiting for Tia Cora down the hill.

"I have no idea", Y/N replied.

"Eh, I'll ask Dolores" Mira shrugged. She happily opened her mouth to give herself another spoonful but her smiley eyes immediately dropped into a scowl when she saw the person coming from behind Y/N.

"Hello, Mirabel, Mariposa", she said, plopping herself on the free chair beside Y/N.

"Hello, Estrella", Y/N sighed.

"Hello, Estrella", Mirabel stabbed her viand with her fork.

"Have you eaten lunch yet?", Y/N asked for the sake of politeness.

"Yes. I've just come from a date", Estrella said, casually checking her nails.

"Hmm. Good for you", Y/N said, focusing on her food.

"Wow. So I guess you're over my cousin now?", Mirabel asked. Estrella stopped checking her nails and scowled at Mira. She looked Mira up and down as if she was judging her.

"No", Estrella said with a smirk.

"Then why are you going out on dates", Mira visibly tried not to roll her eyes.

Estrella just hummed as if she was flattered.

"Because I'm hot", she said.

Y/N snorted making Estrella raise a mean eyebrow while Mira's lips quirked into a smile. She covered it up with a couple coughs.

"I'm sorry, some rice went down the wrong pipe", she said, dabbing on her lips delicately after she gulped down some water to 'relieve' herself. Mira smirked at her before turning to Estrella.

"I don't get why being hot could be an excuse to go on dates while you're still deeply infatuated with Camilo", Mirabel said with sarcastic interest. Estrella smirked wider.
