Camillo was now setting up the table. He saw Dolores and Mariano share a kiss before Mariano went out to tell the town there was a new family coming to Encanto. Camilo already gave his mama her tea and sighed as the threatening sun was blocked by thin clouds. The breeze cooled him under his ruana as he settled the last plate on the table.

He was now sitting on the hammock, rocking it back and forth, thinking about this new arriving family. Would they be nice? Would they have trouble settling in? If so, he wanted to help as much as he can.

His mind wandered to the fact that the family had a girl his age. Something about the thought and his teenage hormones made him feel excited. Would she be nice? Would she be mean? What would she look like? Would she be like the other kids in town? Hopefully, she's not like Estrella.

The thought made him physically gag. Pretty, blonde, Estrella, with her clingy hands and too pink cheeks.

Suddenly he could hear male chatter, kiddie yelling, and female giggling coming from the outside.

He immediately straightened up and fixed himself, his ruana, and his hair. Isabela waved her hand and made the flowers bloom brighter and Bruno emerged from his room. Tia Julieta stood beside them with a plate of arepa conquesos and his Mama and Papa practically waltzed down the stairs in excitement. Some of the clouds cleared away and left a nice "Welcome to Encanto!" mark on the floor with the sun's bright light. Camilo glanced at his Mama and saw that she was practically dancing on the spot. He chuckled and kept his eye on the door. Casita sang with the door chimes and opened all windows and public doors, clearly showing off. Dolores stood behind him with an excited hand on his shoulder.

"Your house is alive!", A little boy ran in. Camilo beamed. He liked playing with kids but he smiled more because he knew that Antonio had been craving for a new friend. His brother ran in next and laughed.

"Quick! I wanna show you my room!", he made to run upstairs but their Papa blocked their way.

"Ah ah ah. Lunch first, mijito", he said.

"But, Papa-"

"Tonito", Mama said in a warning tone and Antonio relented. He resorted to touring the boy around their first floor. And by touring, he meant running and dragging the laughing boy around. Luisa entered next with a tall pile of suitcases balancing on her head. She gently set them to the side and fixed her hair. Tio Agustin went in next talking ecstatically to a man. They had an arm over each shoulder. Seems like they really did know each other.

Camilo couldn't mistake Mirabels loud, snorty laughter but the accompanying laughter was new and unfamiliar. He looked and saw Mirabel arm in arm with a girl his age. She looked similar to the usual Colombians but still, she was different. Her nose was rounder and her skin was just a bit darker. The difference between her and Maribel's clothes was more prominent. Maribel's blouse was short-sleeved and off the shoulder with flounces and bright embroidered colors while hers was covering her entire torso with wide and sheer fabric. She also wore some sort of laced clothe over her shoulders and pinned it to the front in a criss-cross. Mirabel's skirt wasn't much different from hers but the girl's red skirt certainly seemed darker than Mirabel's bright blue.

"I can't believe magic is real!", she said, looking around the house. Casita wiggled a window and the girl took it as a wave and waved back before hiding her smile behind her handkerchief. Abuela entered last with a gentle smile on her face. She cleared her throat and everybody look at her.

"Everyone, this is the familia deLos Reyes. They came to Encanto to start a new life. Help me welcome them", she said happily. Proud that her family was capable of taking care of a growing town.

"Welcome to Encanto!", the Madrigals greeted and the deLos Reyes replied with grateful smiles, still a bit shy. One by one the Madrigals introduced themselves. Then the head of the deLos Reyes family spoke.

"I'm Ernesto, and these are my children. Y/N and Butch", he gestured. Butch was already making a ruckus with Antonio so Y/N just quietly smiled at them all. Camilo noticed that she maintained less eye contact with him and her body was facing the only person she knew in the house, her papa. She stood still like she wanted to make a good impression and her hands were folded in front of her, keeping her personal space as much as she can. Camilo smirked and now found a problem he could help with.

Help Y/N deLos Reyes be comfortable in Encanto.
