Ryan: "We should really look into getting one of these for the house. They are so comfy." she hums, sitting in a pair of hospital stirrups with Matt standing beside her
Matt: "Hmm. I can see that." he chuckles, perking up when the door opens
Doctor: "Alright. Here we go." she hums, re-entering the room
Ryan: "So...is, uh, is everything okay? You know, I mean with the whole having a building fall on top of me."
Doctor: "Well, your labs came back clean. So that's a good sign. Everything else checks out so now all that's left...is the ultrasound. You ready?"
Matt: "Yeah. Yep." he nods as Ryan hums
Doctor: "Dad, you wanna hit the lights" she motions to the switch beside him as they turn their attention to the monitor "And...there we are."
Ryan: "Where?" she questions, leaning closer towards the screen
Doctor: "Right there."
Ryan: "All I see is a dot."
Doctor: "That dot is the baby."
Ryan: "Oh" she nods, leaning back in her seat "Hi, little dot." she smiles, waving a finger at the screen
Matt: "That's our baby." he breathes, pressing a kiss to Ryan's head as they keep their attention on the monitor

Ryan: "Huh? What do you think?" she smiles, showing Kelly the ultrasound
Kelly: "Can't believe you and Casey are about to have a mini SC running around here. Always thought I'd be first in that department."
Ryan: "Well, we're not about to have one. Got some months to go. And you almost were first in this department if it hadn't been for Renee mixing up the fathers."
Kelly: "Yeah" he hums, handing her the picture "I'm happy for you, little sis."
Ryan: "Aw, thanks. And, hey. You might not be a dad but you get a shot at being the best uncle ever."
Kelly: "What are you talking about? I'm going to be the only uncle."
Ryan: "Are you forgetting the groups of guys we work with sitting out there. I mean, Cruz has already started searching for baby gifts to buy. What've you done so far?" she questions, giving him a fake pointed look
Kelly: "We all literally just found out a couple weeks ago."
Ryan: "And you're already being upstaged. Better get on it."
Kelly: "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever" he chuckles, turning his attention to the door "Oh, hey. Ryan, this is Rick Newhouse. He'll be joining us on Squad to replace Clarke. Rick, this is my sister Ryan or SC as we call her here."
Rick: "Nice to meet you."
Ryan: "You too" she smiles, reaching over to shake his hand "Where you from?"
Rick: "Uh, last job was Squad 6, south side. But I'm real happy to be here. Heard some great things about this crew."
Ryan: "Mmh, yeah. We are pretty much the best Squad in town." she hums
Kelly: "Come on. Let me introduce you to the others."

Shay: "So, Dawson's taking the test in 5 days, huh? Must've blocked it out."
Ryan: "Don't see how you could've. She's been driving me crazy all week. Constantly just psyching herself out." she sighs, leaning against Shay's locker
