Chapter 37

Slenderman pulled the familiar silver dagger with rubies on the handle. He was about to stab him, but Zalgo broke free once again. Toby, who was in front of me, had gotten up and tried going after Zalgo. Zalgo summoned some daggers and threw them everywhere resulting in Ben, Puppet, and Toby being stabbed in the shoulder. Both Jacks had taken their knife out of their shoulders but were stabbed in the chest with the daggers that Zalgo had thrown.

Slenderman had also been stabbed with two daggers on his chest.

I ducked down in time but I widen my eyes as I recalled all those nightmares that I had. Every pasta died or was injured except for me. The difference was that this was not a dream but it was reality. If the pastas don't get help, they could die in the next few minutes.

One would be wise to retreat, but I was stubborn. I came here to end Zalgo and that's what I was planning on doing. I grabbed the dagger that I had hidden underneath my jacket and sprinted toward him. I should have done this minutes ago.

"There she is, the star of the show!" Zalgo announced. "It looks like you got my invitation. It's just you and me, Y/N!"

"Y/N, don't!" I heard Slenderman yell, but I ignored him.

I kept swinging my dagger at him, but Zalgo kept teleporting away before I could hit him.

"I was wondering when you would attack, my dove." He chuckled, continuing to avoid my hits. "But you know I can be very patient."

Zalgo eventually stopped teleporting away which I noticed. I was aiming my dagger at his shoulder and immediately switched my dagger to the other hand. Zalgo caught my wrist but before he realized the dagger was no longer there, I turned my body around and used the dagger to stab his chest.

He let go of my wrist but as soon as I tried pulling my dagger out so that I can stab him in the heart, he used his magic and threw me across the room near Slenderman.

I groaned in pain before sitting up to look at him.

Zalgo painfully took my dagger out and threw it to the side where E.J was holding his wound.

"First hit of the day." Zalgo chuckled as his wound was already healing. "I expected more of a fight coming from you Y/N. Such a shame I have to hurt your pathetic friends to achieve my goal."

Zalgo summoned a black portal behind him and walked into it, disappearing in plain sight.

I was afraid he was going after Sally so I got up and ran after him. I couldn't let him hurt her or the Slender brothers.

"Y/N, no!" I heard Slenderman yell once again but I ignored him.

Once I was inside, all I saw was darkness. I looked behind me and didn't see the portal anymore. I just saw the dark abyss.

"Come out Zalgo!" I yelled but received no response. I shivered as I felt a sudden gust of wind coming from behind. I turned around but I still saw no one.

"The pastas are close to dying Y/N. If you waste more time, they'll be dead before you have the chance to see them for the last time." Zalgo's voice echoed.

A flash of orange light blinded me from the side. What seemed like a portal had appeared. All I saw were the pastas bleeding uncontrollably in the throne room. I tried to step in, but the scene vanished.

"Then come out so that I can kill you!" I screamed as I tried to look for him in the darkness. "You're wasting my time!"

Zalgo chuckled. "Does time exist even if we can't see it? Nothing is for certain, not be life, death, or time!"
