"But like I said," I paused. "I'll do anything to kill Zalgo and come back alive."

"And I'm worried that you can't acquire both," he mumbled. "I wish I can fight alongside you, but Slenderman is the issue."

"Exactly, all you have to do is be prepared so that I can leave with you right after the battle."

He pulled an envelope from his hoodie pocket and hid it underneath my pillow.

"Open that when you come back."

I crossed my arms across my chest as I tilted my head. "Why not now?"

"Hopefully that will motivate you to do anything to survive." His fake smile vanished as he broke down. I wasn't best at comforting people, but I wrapped my arms around him. He did the same as he placed his face near my neck.

"I'm sorry Y/N, I'm just afraid. I don't want to lose you again after we just reunited and I feel useless that I can't do anything to assist you."

I pulled back before gently placing my hand on his cheek.

"You've helped in me in so many ways you can't possibly imagine." I assured him "I can't stress this enough but thank you Zen. For everything you've done."

I wiped his tear with my thumb as I smiled at him.

He returned the smile before he placed a hand on the back of my head. He leaned my head closer to him so he could give a small kiss on my forehead.

"I'm going to make it easier for us and leave right now. I love you Y/N, please take care."

He left before I was able to respond. I stood there in silence as the reality has slowly hit in. If I were to die, this was going to be Zen's last memory of me. My survival wasn't guaranteed after all.

I glanced at my pillow as I thought about reading the letter. If anything were to happen to me then the letter could fall into the wrong hands. This just meant dying wasn't a choice anymore.

I tucked a dagger underneath my jacket before going downstairs to meet the pastas. They were all besides the door talking to each other. Once I got down on the last step, Liu turned around to talk to me.

"Sally and the Slender brothers are in the living room. They want to speak to you."

I thanked him and then proceeded to go to the living room. The Slender brothers and Sally, who was standing in front of Splendor, were formed in a line waiting for me.

"We wanted to wish you farewell Y/N. We know you want to keep your ego so we thought of doing it privately," Splendor explained.

A small warm smile plastered on my lips. Sally walked up to me and hugged me.

"I can't wait for you to come back!" She exclaimed.

I chuckled before placing a small kiss on her forehead. She moved to the side so that I can face Splendor.

"So this is it huh? All your training has led to this very moment." We both embraced each other for a few seconds. "I'm so proud of you," he whispered as we pulled away.

I moved towards Trender and embraced him.

"You know, that uniform is so months ago. I need to create a new one for you." He chuckled. "And I need you to model some dresses that I've designed once you come back."

I rolled my eyes. "No, you'll never see me in a dress anymore. Not even on missions."

He groaned. "One-day Y/N. I believe one day you'll give in."

"Keep dreaming," I chuckled before making my way towards Offender.

He stared at me for a few seconds before sighing.
