Chapter 34

She panicked as she felt her throat and lungs were on fire. She regretted ever going outside in the middle of the night. If she hadn't done so, she would have been on her bed, planning on how she would kill Zalgo. Now, she would no longer be able to accomplish her goals.

All of a sudden, she felt someone wrapping their arms around her body before they teleported back to the cliff. She closed her eyes as she violently coughed the water out. She was relieved she was breathing air again.

"You won't be telling the others about me or else I won't hesitate to leave you to drown, did you hear me!" he yelled.

Y/N let out small cries as she nodded. She wrapped her arms around her body seeing as she was shivering from the freezing water.

"Stop crying, what did I tell you about crying? It makes you vulnerable!"

Y/N kept her gaze on the ground as she wiped her tears.

"I'm sorry," she trembled. She had regretted everything.

Zalgo rolled his eyes before bending down. He kept his blank expression as he used the back of his index finger to caress her face once again.

"It hurts me to see you in pain, my angel, but I have to do this to make sure you're ready for our future."

"O-our future?" She stuttered as she shivered.

"Our future," he assured her as he raised his hand to use his power to dry her up. " I told you we would be living together in the under realm, my love."

"But Slenderman said I'll be his proxy until I die! He saved me from the forest when my parents left me there. I need to repay him!"

Zalgo rolled his eyes at her statement. He placed his hand near her cheek which she leaned on it, seeking warmth. She was fully dry but she was still shivering from the cold weather. "Believe me dear when I say you'll know the truth in a few years. I'll tell you the whole story when we're reunited. Everything that he has told you have been a lie."

Zalgo got up and pulled her into his arms.

"You won't be telling on me, will you?" He asked to be sure.

She shook her head.

"Good, now let's bring you back to the mansion."

Zalgo teleported them both to her pink room. He gently laid her on her bed before covering her with the bedsheets.

"Am I still going to have a nightmare?" She muttered. Zalgo stared at her before sighing.

"This will be the only exception seeing as you just had one a few minutes ago."

Zalgo leaned up towards her before placing a small kiss on her forehead.

"Today will be the last day you see me seeing as my nap will start at midnight. I am well aware I will miss out on your birthday but I want you to be in your room at exactly eleven at night, got it?"

Y/N nodded as she closed her eyes. Zalgo placed his hand on her forehead to make her fall asleep before he heard footsteps in the hallway. He then teleported away before Slenderman had the chance to catch him standing in front of Y/N.

"I can't fucking swim you piece of shit!"

As the pastas were busy arguing, they failed to notice two figures walking towards them. Both Puppeteer and Painter came out of the forest to find the source of the screams.
