CHAPTER 16- COOKIES N' CREME

We all are back home after a long and tiring day of shopping, all I want to do for now is just sleep. I'm so fucking exhausted and tired

yes after all of that obviously ill be tired. Nikolai is downstairs talking to papa and the rest of the guys about god knows what. I brush my teeth, change out of my clothes and wear one of Nikolai's sweats and my shorts. I put my hair up into a bun and get into bed, ahh finally. I was waiting for Nikolai to come back so, I can make him sleep on the floor but as soon as my head not the pillow and my eyes close shut, I fe asleep way before I knew it.

I wake up in the middle of the night as I feel someone move around next to me, I look to my side and see Nikolai stirring around in his sleep

"please stop don't do that to her, don't hurt her please. You can do anything to me just don't touch her please"

is he having a nightmare, who is he talking about. His face is glistening with sweat ,as he keeps on moving around in his sleep,

"Nikolai wake up, Niko wake up. Its a dream" I wake him up by shaking his shoulders, his eyes immediately dart open and takes in his surrounding. My hand wipes out the sweat and push his hair away that was sticking to his forehead .

I cradle his face in my hands as my thumb caresses his jaw, trying to get him to calm himself down "Look at me, you're just dreaming Niko. It was a dream calm down, you okay?"

His eyes finally takes in his surroundings and his grey eyes find my brown ones. I now my head slowly, to assure him that he is okay.

"Its okay you were just dreaming" I whisper softly hoping that he would call down.

"I'm sorry for waking you up" he gets off of the bed immediately and heads downstairs. I wonder whether I should go behind him and check if he is okay but instead I decided to give him his space and just go back to sleep.

The words he muttered in his dream keeps replaying in my head, I hope he is okay. I was awake for quiet some time after that , waiting for him to come back to the room. He never came back, and I never knew when I dozed off again and fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, his side of the bed was cold and empty. I guess he left off to work early today, I didn't think much about it since he is normally out early in the morning and just went on with my daily doings. I changed into my sweats and headed downstairs to see what everyone is doing. I decided to just drink coffee since I'm not feeling that hungry, today night is the masquerade ball.

The entire house is in a hurry to make sure everything that is required is there. "Hey dumbass, you need to tell me everything of what happened with you and Lucca yesterday night"

I go and sit in between Kat and Alana, I saw how they two were together for the most of the times. His hands were around her waist when he thought no one was looking, but they dont know I have my eyes everywhere. 

"We both admitted that we have a liking towards each other but doesn't want to rush into anything and spoil a good friendship or whatever it is, so ya that happened yesterday. What about the both of you, did you guys have fun?" She mutterred everything out so easily and then she diverts the topic and brings it back to me.
