"You're not going to tell the others right? Because that would-"

"Relax it's a secret between us."

As soon as I heard water splashing, I found myself standing outside the room.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me," I mumbled as I slowly began to walk towards the pool with Ben next to me.

Surely enough the pastas were in the pool. The Slenderbrothers were around Sally to make sure she wouldn't get hurt. Liu, L.J, and Hoodie were inside the pool splashing water at each other with Painter and Puppet sitting on the edge with their feet touching the water, and Toby and E.J were having drinks on the side.

I closed my eyes as I tried to take a deep breath to calm my nerves.

"Yo sweetcheeks, did you change your mind?" Sully yelled out which caught the attention of the others.

I shook my head before turning around but got greeted with both Masky and Jeff shirtless.

Jeff placed his hands on his hips as he smirked. "Like what you see?"

I scoffed. "This is why I hate men."

A female scream then echoed through the room which caused me to turn my head.

"That's not fair uncle Offender!" Sally yelled as she tried to splash water towards him.

I sighed before looking at Ben. "Make sure she doesn't drown. I'm going for a walk."

Ben nodded before he moved closer to keep an eye out on Sally with Jeff trailing behind him.

"You know you should have fun in your life once in a while."

I rolled my eyes at Masky's comment. "Funny how you told me you were a workaholic because it doesn't seem so."

He shrugged. "I am but I know it wouldn't hurt to have fun once in a few months. We all worked hard on training."

"We haven't battled Zalgo yet."

Masky clicked his tongue. "At this point, I'm sure we're not going to fight him. It's been a while since they made the peace treaty and he hasn't broken it."

I rolled my eyes. "I wouldn't be surprised if he attacks at any moment now that we're vulnerable."

He let out a small laugh. "You're overthinking it Y/N, just try to enjoy today."

I huffed before I left the room. If I had stayed then I would have exploded. I had to let my expressions out and the only way to do it would be through Zen.

I sat on the familiar log as I silently stared at the clear blue lake in front of me.

Zen and I met at the same spot as usual. It was far enough where Slenderman wouldn't feel him plus it was significant for us seeing as this was the spot where he saved me from Zalgo and it was our first encounter after we were separated for eleven years. We met up daily in which he would share his memories with me while I would tell him of my experiences in the mansion. Of course, I avoided talking about Zalgo knowing he's capable of hurting him. I had to protect him.

I felt a presence behind me but I didn't bother turning around knowing it was Zen.

"You're earlier than usual," he chuckled as he sat next to me. He glanced at me before mumbling, "You look like shit."

I grinned. "You're the second person to tell me that."

"Have you been sleeping well?"

I relied on sleeping pills to the point I'm immune to them and they don't have an effect on me anymore.

"I just had a hard time sleeping last night. That's all."

He hummed before straightening his back.

"Lay your head on my thighs."

"Pardon me?" I wasn't sure if I heard him right.

"Take a fifteen-minute nap. Trust me, it'll make you feel refreshed."

I hesitated to find out if a nap could result in a nightmare.

"It feels wrong, I can't-"

"If I recall correctly, you told me today was going to be your day off. Plus it'll only be fifteen minutes."

I quietly sat there as I thought about it. I knew naps were beneficial and I would be stuck babysitting adults in a few hours. If I slept for a few minutes maybe I may not dream.

Zen patiently waited for my response. I sighed before giving in. I softly laid my head on his thighs and closed my eyes. I wasn't sure if I was going to fall asleep but resting my eyes and being with Zen had already helped me relax my muscles.

I felt him run his fingers through my hair as he quietly hummed. He then placed his hand on my forehead and that's when I felt my body go numb and darkness took over.
