Ayumi's POV

If he wants to be my partner, why didn't he say so?

That's the question I keep asking myself but I already have an answer. Even if he did ask me, I don't think I will be able to say yes because he specifically told Selene that he won't join the cotillion. I think that it would be insulting to her if I'd accept Cade as my partner.

"Positions please." sabi ng nagtuturo samin.

Today is Saturday and here we are currently rehearsing the dance for the cotillion. We're inside the Lockwood Mansion by the way and we are a total of 10 students. We have four other classmates who joined and bali sa aming walo, si Khai, Val, Bryan, Selene at ako lang ang sumali.

The song played and we danced what we rehearsed earlier. Madali lang naman dahil simpleng sayaw lang naman siya. There was this step wherein we would bend our backs while the guys are holding us and as soon as Neil and I did that step, I saw Cade upstairs, looking down at us.

I almost forgot that we're in his home.

"Okay let's take a break and we're gonna finalize the dance later."

Nang matapos namin ang sayaw, nag break muna kami. Ang ibang students ay lumabas pero kami ni Neil ay umupo muna dun sa couch ganun din sila Selene. Mason and Alessia are also here even though 'di sila kasali dahil gusto daw nila kami mapanood.

"Hi Cade!" bati ni Selene. Napalingon naman ako sa likod ko at nakitang kakababa lang ng hagdan ni Cade.

Cade wave his hands and smiled. 9:00 palang kasi ng umaga at mukhang kakagising niya lang dahil naka pajama pa siya.

"You wanna go eat first outside?" tanong ni Neil sakin.

"Uhm, I think I'm good. Ikaw ba nagugutom ka? I can go with you." sagot ko. Ngumiti naman siya at umiling.

"Nope, baka lang kasi nagugutom ka. Anyway hindi ba kagabi umuwi sila Mr. And Mrs. Lockwood?" oo nga pala. Hindi ko pa sila nakikita ngayon.

"Good morning bro, mukhang may muta ka pa ah." pabirong sabi ni Mason habang kumakain ng biscuit. Umupo naman si Cade sa tabi niya.

"Oo puyat ako kagabi eh, I played games." sagot ni Cade. Bigla naman tumayo si Bryan.

"Good morning mom, dad." sabi niya. Napalingon kaming lahat sa hagdan at doon nakita namin ang parents nila.

They look so elegant. Mukhang ang bata padin ng mom and dad nila at mukhang ang yaman-yaman tignan.

"Good morning son, I see you have some friends, with the both of you?" sabi ng dad nila. Pati kami ay tumayo rin.

"Wow they look so rich." bulong ni Neil sakin. Napatango ako, kay Cade at Bryan palang 'pag titignan sila parang ang yaman-yaman na which is really true.

"Yes, and-" Bryan did not get to continue what he was about to say when Cade interrupted.

"Mom, dad, you already know who the guys are so let me introduce the girls to you. This is Selene, Valerie, Alessia and Ayumi." pagpapakilala sa amin ni Cade.
