Chapter 24

Chapter 24 onwards will be a lot longer than the previous chapters. Decided to make it longer so that hindi gaanong bitin.

Chapter 24
Ayumi's POV

"Hi tita! We missed you a lot!" Valerie approached my mom with a gentle hug. Kakarating lang nila Alessia, Selene at Valerie dito sa hospital, pero si Alessia ay nasa baba pa dahil nagpapark pa ng sasakyan.

It's Sunday today and I'm still thinking if I should go to school tomorrow or just skip para masamahan si mommy.

"My daughters, nag-abala pa kayo bumiyahe papunta dito." sabi ni mommy. Nakakatuwa na anak narin ang turing niya sa mga kaibigan ko. Umupo naman ako sa tabi niya.

"Hi tita! Nice to see you again po. You look fine naman po ah? Hmm, inaalagaan po ba kayo maigi ng doctors and nurses dito?" nagbeso naman si Selene kay mommy.

"Oo naman lalo na 'tong si Yumi, halos ayaw matulog at gusto ko bantayan magdamag." natawa ako dahil guilty ako.

"Syempre mommy, I want to look after you every time." sagot ko. Bigla naman pumasok si Alessia kasabay si daddy na may dalang pagkain. Si Alessia naman ay may dalang flowers.

"Hi tita!" lumapit si Alessia kay mommy para magbeso at ipinatong ang flowers sa sa tabi ng bed, "We bought these flowers for you po, and nakasabay ko din si tito sa baba to buy foods. How are you tita?"

I looked at mom. She looks so weak and pale, she has no hair already dahil sa chemo. I know she's going through a lot but here she is, keeping a smile on her face infront of us.

"I'm fine, Alessia. Nako, kayong apat ang gaganda niyo parin talaga. Meron na bang may boyfriend sa inyo hmm?" nagtawanan naman kami. Alam na agad kung sino ang magiging defensive hahaha.

"Wala po 'no! Pass muna ako sa ganyan tita di pa ako ready hehe." sabi ni Alessia. Asus, Pusta ko ang bangs ni Selene kapag nainlove yan kay Mason haha!

"Same, love myself muna!" sabi naman ni Val.

Tinignan naman namin si Selene na hindi pa nasagot, "How about you Selene?" I asked.

"Hi hon, are you hungry?" rinig kong bulong ni dad kay mommy. Mommy just shook her head. Dad just smiled and kissed my mom on the forehead.

"I actually like someone po but..." Selene looked at me, "I don't think he'll like me back." sagot niya.

"Why not?" mommy asked.

"Wushuu si Bryan yan 'no! Yiie ikaw ha." pang-aasar ni Alessia.

"Hahaha ano ka ba, basta may gusto ako kaso, mukhang malabo." napakunot naman ang noo ko. Does she not like Bryan? If not, who?

"Kung sino man ang lalaki na 'yun Selene, I know he will be lucky to have such beautiful and soft-hearted lady like you. All of you girls will soon find a man who will take care of you and love you as a whole. Don't ever settle for less, okay?" mom really likes giving us her warm words. She has always been like this to us.

"I agree, parang ako hindi ba hon? Hahaha" singit ni dad, nasiko naman siya ni mommy.

"Daddy, alam na po namin 'yun! Hahaha" sabi ko. Tumawa naman si dad.

"Pero seryoso, you girls should take care of your hearts. Look for someone who will value you, who will love you, take care of you, treat you as his princess, his one and only and higit sa lahat, look for someone who will respect you, parang ako lang sa tita Athena niyo, lalo ka na anak. Please take care of your heart this time." ngumiti ako at tumango bago ako yumakap kay dad.
