Kids Choice Awards 2015

Okay, I'm sorry, I truly am.

I just really need to vent about this right now.

Some of the winners really deserved those awards.

But as for rest of them?... Let me break it down for you real quick.

Favourite Kids TV Show: Austin & Alley

Heck yes! I love that show and I've come to like a few of their songs. 1 point for Disney!

Favourite Family TV Show: Modern Family

*claps* congrats to you!

... However, just a quick rant here. Now I'm not TOTALLY against Modern Family winning this award. It's a funny show, it's been playing for years now. It's gotten great reviews!

But do you also know what show who was also nominated, had been running for years, and has gotten great reviews as well?

The Big Bang Theory!

Me, my parents, and my friends watch it all the time. Why? Because it's funny!

I'll come back to this one because what I'll say later on about why this category didn't win, also relates to other categories in this.

Okay, next up!

Favourite TV Actor: Austin Moon-- *cough* I mean Ross Lynch.

Now again, I'm not TOTALLY against this winner either. I think he's great! But I feel like Jim Parsons should have one that award just a tiny bit. Why?.... Bro, HAVE YOU SEEN HIS ACTING?! He's incredible! Hysterical! A small part or me thinks that just because Austin & Alley won best Kids Show, they also automatically win for Favourite TV Actor/Actress.

Which brings me to the next category;

Favourite TV Actress: Laura Marono

Don't get me wrong, she is good! Really good at acting. But again I feel like Austin & Alley were just given those awards by default because they already one Favourite TV show. Debby Ryan was great as well, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting is great as well. Why not give them a chance?

Again, 2 points for Disney!

Now, moving on to favourite cartoon show. This one I have mixed feelings about.

Winner: Spongebob Squarepants.

Now I LOVED Spongebob growing up. Heck, me and my boyfriend went out on a date just to see Sponge Out Of Water! But I love the old Spongebob. The newer seasons just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

AND THERE WERE OVER SHOWS THAT COULD HAVE WON AS WELL!

Why not Fairly Odd Parents? I love that show, and their new seasons were great! But let's not forget Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! That show is amazing, it has an incredible plot! And what about Phineas and Ferb? That show is the bomb!

Favourite book: Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

YES!!! In your face Divergent!... No offence to Divergent fans.

Most Addicting Game: Minecraft

OMG YES!!! Thank you!

Favourite Villian: Maleficent

Oh you better believe it! Jolie KILLED that performance like a boss! In your face President Snow!

Favourite Reality Show: Dance Moms

... :/ Don't really care about that one much.

Favourite Competition Show: The Voice

I like The Voice and all, but... AMERICA'S GOT TALENT ALL THE WAY BRO!!!

Okay... Now here's where I really, really, started to lose it.

Favourite Movie: Mocking Jay Part 1

... What?... You're kidding me right?... IT WAS THE WORST OF THE THREE HUNGER GAMES MOVIES RELEASED SO FAR!

Besides! Guardians of The Galaxy, TMNT, and Transformers: Age of Extinction, was so much better!

And do NOT get me started on who won for favourite band;

Two words... One Direction...

UGH! *punches a hole in the wall*

I swear, I feel like these award shows only accepted votes from tween girls!

Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, and Maroon 5 were SO much better.

All the other categories I didn't have a problem with. They DESERVED those awards.

The only thing I really rejoiced about in this years Kids Choice Awards, was the winner for Favourite Animated Movie.

*drum roll*

BIG HERO 6!!!

YES, HOLY CRAP YES!!! Ha, ha, ha!!! IN YOUR FACE HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2!!!

100 points for Disney!!! Woot!

But now the real reason why I made this rant.

Do you want to know why Transformers and all that jazz didn't win anything?

Because, according to some ppl....

It's for nerds.
