A WEEK LATER:
I have been catching up with Miran like crazy in the past week, and surprisingly Yoongi has hung around with us too!!
I still can't say whether I've passed his vibe check or not, but Yoongi seems to tolerate me somewhow.
I was interrogated about my hygiene because of Yoongi's OCD, but he must've been reassured since I'm a nurse and I have to be clean.
I worry about Yoongi because his OCD seems quite severe and he should get it sorted out. But it's not likely he'll listen to me.
At first, I was quite intimidated by the constant attention I'd received from hanging around with Yoongi and Miran. But thankfully, I became used to it after Miran told me she's been dealing with this since she paired up with him for the project.
And how Yoongi, has been dealing with this since he joined university.
If anything, Miran's family must be so proud that she's finally settled in. We all feared she'd relapse into her old ways, but I'm glad everything has worked out.
We've been through everything together- Miran's birth mum leaving her family, her dad's mental breakdown, and everything that came after...
Miran has been a reserved, reclusive, perfectionist since then, and it's not healthy for her.
But if anything, Miran seems a lot happier now, she's in university and has met Yoongi.
I was initially quite intimidated when I finally saw him close up. I'm not one to judge- but he looked like a gang member. Although I know he isn't one, I wonder what Yoongi's past was like?
I'm dying to know how Miran saw past Yoongi's intimidating exterior, this whole time.
I've always noticed Miran that has always had this special flame in her, that only certain things can ignite.
But if anything, I'm dying to return to Muses pub after so long. I'm just really surprised that I've never noticed Yoongi there all this time!!
A FEW WEEKS LATER:
"I've missed you, sexy-face" I gushed at Namjoon.
"I-I'm sorry, what?!" Namjoon blushed, waving his hands frantically.
"It's only been a month, and you've already forgotten my nicknames for you?" I pinched the man's cheeks.
"H-Hoseok--" Namjoon stuttered, his eyes widening.
"Leave the poor man alone" Yoongi scoffed, crossing his arms, "I'm sure Namjoon doesn't need you humiliating him like that"
"Yoongi..." Namjoon chuckled nervously.
"Oh Yoongi~ You should lighten up more!" I cooed, causing Miran to giggle.
"Pfft. I am happy" Yoongi rolled his eyes, causing Namjoon, Miran and I to glance at each other in shock. "You don't know me as well as you think, you idiot"
Yoongi took a swig off his beer and sipped it. "You better not start on me Hoseok. You're sober and you're already acting like this? I'm concerned" He scolded, causing a few giggles to escape me.
Ooh... Yoongi's exposing me!! I've made a few nicknames for the hottie already...
I turned back to my best friend as a massive smirk spread across my face. "How do you keep picking up fine ass men Miran?!"
"Hoseok!!" Miran sudenly grabbed my shoulders and shook me violently.
"Aight, I'm out" Yoongi grumbled as he jumped off his seat and approached the pub's exit.
"Where do you think you're going young man?" I finally pulled away from Miran's grasp, and crossed my arms at Yoongi.
"Anywhere away from this madness" Yoongi rolled his eyes as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
"This man, honestly..." Miran frowned, as Yoongi took out his lighter.
"So are you going to tell me about BTS's new single, 'DNA'?" Namjoon began, as he turned back to us.
"You sooo need to listen to it" Miran fangirled as she cupped her cheeks. "Once again they've released a masterpiece!!"
Although I wasn't a fan of the group, I couldn't help but smile at my best friend's enthusiasm.
And just like that, the pair were soon so engrossed in their conversation, that I found myself rather bored.
Maybe I should join Yoongi? I hope I haven't pissed him off too much!!
I jumped off my seat and came out of the pub, as Miran and Namjoon were too engrossed in their conversation to notice.
Yoongi leant against the wall as he took puffs of the cancer-inducing stick, and a cool breeze blew his silver bangs.
"Smoking is very bad for you" I began, standing beside the man.
Yoongi narrowed his eyes at me, "You should know... as a nurse, to not dictate people's lives"
"I know... but I just care..." I stumbled, looking away.
"Pfft, you barely even know me, Hoseok. There's no point in stopping me, since I've been smoking since I was 16" Yoongi defended.
I couldn't help but gaze at the man worriedly. That's so sad, I wonder why? Even though it's none of my business, I can't help but feel bad for Yoongi.
"Now I don't want to add you to my list of dumbasses, Hoseok. Considering how far you've come, it'd be such a shame" Yoongi took another puff of his cigarette.
"How old are you Yoongi?" I stuttered, even though I knew it probably irritated him further.
Yoongi sighed loudly and pressed his cigarette butt against the wall.
Oh no...
"Why do you ask huh? I don't like telling people my age because they'll either use it against me, and I'll attract even more fucking attention that I need!"
I slightly flinched at his words, causing Yoongi to glance at me. "I'm sorry. I have a reputation for being potty-mouthed" He apologised.
"I know, I've heard so much about you from Miran" I chuckled.
I'm surprised how well that went. But I'm dying to know about Yoongi's past now...
