Today I learned that "House Of The Rising Sun" actually WASN'T originally by The Animals, and it's a cover of a song from 1932 called "Rising Sun Blues".
Also, apparently, it's about some dude whose dad is a drunken gambler, and it's NOT about a whore house like my dad told me.
My whole life is a lie. /j
(Seriously though this song is amazing and if you haven't listened to it yet you're doing yourself a disservice)
