It was never easy, nothing is really easy in this world. All is earned through sweats and perseverance. The people here seem to not like me. I've notice that on my first week as Rhyno's wife. I was stuck here, I've been trying to cope up and somehow bond with the maids but they are all aloof.

Para akong may nakakahawang sakit na dapat iwasan.

"Fausea, hija. Nag-iisa ka yata dito, nasaan si Maddie?" Lolo Isidro asked. The old man has been constantly making me feel welcome here.

I lean on the concrete railings of the balcony. Kita ang malawak na lupain dito.

"May tinawagan lang po."

Rhyno is in Manila. I get that he is busy, nagpupunta din siya ng abroad at umuuwi lang dito two days a week or less. That is convenient for me, i don't want to see him more often. He left Maddie as my assistant, my personal shopper, basically the one who gets all the things I want, she would reconnect to some connections.

Just few people knows that I was the one he married, but the country knew that he already got married to someone. Maybe he wants me to stay still in private until my brother can stand on his own and take me back so we'd divorce.

Now I have the money but I don't have friends nor the joy in me. I left my life in Metro!

"Mukhang nababagot ka na dito. Pwede kang maglibot sa buong lupain kung gusto mo." masayang sabi ng matanda.

Napangiti ako at tumabi kay Lolo Isidro.

"Sa totoo lang po, gusto ko nang umuwi." I answered honestly.

He sighed and look at the great view infront. "Sabi ko nga kay Rhyno na nagpagawa sana siya ng bahay bago kayo kinasal, iyong batang iyon, sa sobrang daming ginagawa, pati ikaw nakakalimutan na."

I sadly smiled. We are not like any ideal married couple who goes out of the country for honeymoon. What do I expect? This is just an agreement and nothing more, besides, baka mas lalong napaka awkward kung may honeymoon pa.

I am not planning to consummate this marriage.

"It's a big company, po. I understand his busy schedules."

That is true, I don't want to burden him especially with the fact that he just helped an old friend ease such burden with its obligation to his little sister.

"Halika at samahan mo ako sa tubuhan. Anihan din ng pinya, pakwan, melon, kamatis, at marami pa. You can pick whichever you want at para maaliw ka."

I felt my mood rose. I really need to unwind, maybe I could have the gut to visit our house here some other time.

That afternoon, Lolo Isidro and I talked a lot while touring around their lands. He had so much stories about my grandmother and he is so polite to his people.

I was so full of smiles when dinner ended and had my first ever good sleep inside the mansion.

"Ma'am, gising po. Ma'am..."

Naalimpungatan ako, I removed my eye mask at natagpuan si Maddie na hawak ang phone niya. I look outside and the sun is about to rise in the sky, umaga na.

"Why?" I asked in breathless voice.

"Asawa niyo po gusto kayong kausap."

I snorted and grab the phone from her hand. She excused herself.

"What, Rhyno?" I asked in my morning voice while leaning on the headboard.

I heard no response.
