3J IS BACK AND IM SO HAPPY

---------------------------------------------------------

I woke up to Jungkook slightly shaking me, "Wake up, Y/N."

I groaned, "What time is it?"

He pulled out his phone and looked at the time, "7:23 am. I want to, um, talk, before Namjoon Hyung does."

"Why are you speaking in English?" I asked, rubbing the sand out of my eyes.

"I want to...challenge, myself." He says with a soft smile.

"Ok, then. Operation Jungkook has commenced." I say with a smile, then look down at my clothes, and gasp, pulling the comforter up over my chest, "But first, I need to change."

He blushes and quickly stands up to leave, "I will be at the house."

I nod and he leaves, then I fall back on my pillow with a sigh. Yesterdays events exhausted me, and now Jungkook gets me up early for class? Just rude. I sigh and grab my pillow, putting it over my face to scream into. Now I feel better.

I meet Jungkook up at the house where I find him sitting at the table inside. He's pulled out a monopoly board. Not what I had in mind, but ok.

"Are you hungry? I can make, um...eggs! Om-omelette?" He says standing up.

"Actually, yes! Why don't we make it together?" I say with a smile.

He smiles his adorable bunny smile, "Yes, together!"

I chop the vegetables, and Jungkook breaks and whisks the eggs, "It is ready."

"Great, I know a small thing we can work on while we cook. Contractions." I say pouring in the vegetables.

"Con-tac-shins." He tries to repeat. Then scratches his neck awkwardly.

"Con-trac-tion. It means to make smaller. In this case, I'm talking about word Contractions. For example cannot, becomes can't, I am becomes I'm, and of course there are slang contractions like want to, becomes wanna."

"Ah so, I can't dance, this is correct?" He says flipping the omelet.

"Perfect, but we both know you, Jeon Jungkook, can dance." I laugh popping a left over pepper into my mouth.

He laughs, and places the cooked rolled omelette on a plate and cuts it into strips. I grab 2 pairs of chopsticks and grab some watermelon from the fridge. We then go sit down at the table.

"So, why monopoly?" I ask then take a bite of omelette.

"It is fun, and it has many...things, to translate. Namjoon-hyung played so I want to as well." He says.

"It is fun, can be contracted into..." I pause and wait for his answer.

"I-Oh! It's fun?" He says nervously.

I smile, and clap my hands excitedly, "You're a natural."

We started our game, buying up properties and him translating every card to English. Some with little to no difficulty, others with more difficulty. We discussed the difference between one dollar and one won, to which he informed me how cheap he thought everything in America was the first time they went over seas. Which in turn sparked a conversation of funny stories, mostly about Namjoon and Jin.

He kept his English basic, and tried to use contractions whenever he deemed them necessary, and I corrected, or had him restate sentences when necessary. He was very appreciative of my corrections, but I have to admit, I was enjoying the game more than the lesson.
