I swallowed the lump in my throat. My heart beat fast as his hand went deeper into my pants.
"Tommy, we have to get back."

"They won't miss us."

"Not now, later."

He pulled his hand away from my underwear.
Now holding mine we walked back together.

Doc was quick to ask questions,
"Where were you kids?"

"Doesn't matter."
Me and 10k spoke at the same time.
"In the woods."

I elbowed him, giving him a look.
"What?" He shrugged.

The woman spoke up, "Come with me, I'll show you the way to your friends."

She led us back to the group.

Cassandra was getting worse, Mack helped her stay upright.

"We should be going." I spoke.
"Before the herd kills us all, cause I'd rather not get torn apart by like five thousand Z's, thanks."

"But~"

I cut doc off, "but nothing, we have to leave."

10k put his hand on my shoulder, something he does frequently when trying to calm me down.

I pushed him away.
"Fine, stay, I'm leaving now."

"Y/n!" Warren warned,

I walked off again, what the hell do they think they're doing? Do they not understand the importance of survival these days? What if~"

I heard a crunch, then when I turned around, before I could raise my weapon. A hand slapped itself over my mouth. I tried to scream, but I didn't when I noticed who it was.

"Tommy!" I hit his shoulder, not very hard, but not gently either.

"Y/n, are you okay?"

"No, you just scared the shit out of me."

"That's not what I meant."

I sighed, taking a deep breath I spoke my mind.
"Let's leave, right now, together."

His eyes widened, "What about Doc and Warren? And Mack and Addi?"

"We don't owe them anything."
"Besides, I'm asking you to come with me. I love you Thomas, and I want you with me, forever.
We can protect each other."

"I don't know what to say."

"I'm leaving ten, with or without you."

"You can't be serious."

I didn't speak, I only stared at him. I was serious.

"Y/n..."

"Baby please. I need you." I begged him,

"I'm sorry but I just can't leave them, it's not right, we'll convince them, we'll be gone before the herd comes."

"How can you be so sure!?" I raised my voice,

"I just am."

I was conflicted, I didn't want to leave him.
Truth be told I was scared. Though I wouldn't ever admit that to him or anyone else.
