"This is pointless tommy."
"It's not."
"Why isn't it then, tell me."
He goes to speak but I cut him off, "just tell me what you want to know and I'll tell you."
"There is one thing I'd like to know." He speaks quietly,
I don't speak, instead I wait for him to continue,
"Why did you say yes?"
I raise an eyebrow,
"What?"
"When I asked you to be my girlfriend, why did you say yes?"
I chuckle at his idiotic question,
"you have to be joking."
He keeps a straight face,
"Oh, you're being serious."
He nods,
" well that is a story I'd prefer to tell."
The corner of his lips curl into a small smile,
I take a deep breath,
"You're the first person to ever believe in me, you gave me a chance, you cared about me, and most importantly you never gave up on me."
He looks at me with that sparkle in his eyes, I still can't understand how he looks at me like that,
Like he is completely and utterly, hopelessly in love with me.
"Also not to mention the fact that you are Super hot Eye candy." I took my attention away from the road for a moment only to smirk at him,
Finally he speaks again,
"When I saw you, all alone, I thought I was hallucinating, I couldn't believe I seen a girl as perfect as you left alone, ya know... in a weird twisted way I'm kind of glad this all happened because in the end I met you."
I've never been this happy in my life, even in a time like this, he's made it all worth it.
"If we had met in a time before this, I'd take you on the best dates, late night adventures, buy you flowers every day."
He takes my left hand in his,
"Just being here with you is enough for me, I love you Tommy."
"I love you more."
