Chapter 25- The Performance

Tris P.O.V

I wake up to my alarm clock and groan. School again today. I go into my closet and grab a sweatshirt and sweatpants. I go downstairs and my mom hands me a muffin as I walk out. I smile at her.

"Bye!" She yells as I walk out. I get into my car and start driving towards school. As I'm driving, I see Uri walking. I pull over and roll down my window.

"Need a ride?" I ask. He smiles, nods his head, and gets in. I pull out and continue driving.

"So why we're you walking?" I ask him.

"Zeke and I had one of our usual fights last night. He left before I even woke up." Uri explains.

I park and we walk into school. We go separate ways to our lockers. I get to my locker and see Chris and Will at her locker.

I go up to my locker and get my books. We talk and then Will leaves to go to his locker. Chris and I go to 1st hour and sit in the back with Shauna.

{ Time lapse ~ Lunch }

We sit down at the table and are the first ones there. We talk as we eat our lunch. I feel hands on my eyes and smile.

"Uri what are you doing?" I ask. He takes his hands off and sits down facing me.

"How'd you know it was me?" He asks. I shrug and take a bite of my food.

The rest of the squad gets to the table and we talk for awhile. Uri taps my shoulder and I look over at him.

"You wanna come to another performance after school?" He asks. I nod and smile at him.

After school Uri and I go out to my car. He gets into the driver seat.

"Hey it's my car" I say.

"You don't know where we're going though" he says. I shrug and get into the passenger side. He drives to some concert/club place for teens. We go in and go backstage. Uriah and his band check in and go to get ready.

"I'll be out there" I yell to him. He nods and walks off. I go find a table to stand at and wait.

Right now playing is some other band. I can't tell who it is, but they aren't very good. A couple minutes later Uri and the other boys walk on stage.

"Hello, well be playing a song I wrote called, Thinking Out Loud" he says. They start playing.

Everyone applauds and Uri bows sarcastically. I smile looking up at him. He motions for me to come up. I crawl onto the stage and run over to him. I hug him and rest my head on his shoulder.

Omg I saw Insurgent last night and it was like, feels.

It wasn't very much like the book. At all

Peter was the best part. His sarcastic one-liners are the best.
