you pushed nari's comment aside as you pulled out your notebook.

only a day has passed since the announcement of the two assignments...and you were now ready to work on your pre-med midterm project.

the catch is: kyoto university has sample bacteria of various diseases, and each student must create a whole lab—hypothesis, experiment, and conclusion—for that bacteria. by using the actual bacteria.

"i need to at least have a plan for this so that i'll have time to work on the partner project tomorrow," you told nari.

"have they sent you your partner yet?"

"no, not yet. i think they're emailing them to us individually later this afternoon and there's a meeting for it tomorrow."

please say that my partner is someone that will CONTRIBUTE.

"y/n. we're going to lose so much sleep this month," nari laughed. you could hear the greif in her voice.

you smiled sadly.
