Chapter Forty-Nine

Klaus pov-

I walked down to the basement smirking at Kym. The only hybrid of mine left alive. "So Kym...was it worth it?" She glares at me as I smirk. She doesn't speak so I grab the wolf's bane. I touch her cheek with it and she groans loudly. "S-stop!" "I don't think so." I shove it into her mouth and close it. I hear her cries and grin. "Klaus!" I groan looking back at Bonnie. Kol came in after her and I shook my head. "What?" "Don't kill her." "I'm not. Unless she tells me the spell to fix my Hayley." I growled letting go of Kym backing away as she starts to spit out the wolfsbane. I knew it burnt her. "I don't know anything." I went to grab the metal pipe to ram into her but Kol stops me. "Bonnie found a spell. She doesn't like to hear the torture either so stop." I rolled my eyes. When the hell did he become so...not Kol. We leave the room and I sit on the couch drinking. "Why did you do that?" Bonnie asks opening her grimoire. "I get a little moody."

She scoffs and looks through it before she started chanting. I still don't remember when she got her magic back. Probably has something to do with Kol. "Done." She says which I didn't notice anything happen. "How do I know it worked?" I asked. "You kill the one thing that's keeping her from you." She says and I sit up grinning. It's time to kill that damn bastard. "Good. Elijah. Brother!" I yelled standing up. He was leaning against the doorway as I walked to him. "I need you to kill my hybrid while I go take care of that damn vampire." He nods and looks at Kol. "Probably should take her from here. It may take a while." I grab my jacket leaving.

Hayley pov-

I walked through the woods before spotting Klaus. "Klaus!" I said and he turns to me. "Hayley." He says and I smile at him. "Do you remember me?" I shake my head before looking at him. "But I know you gave me my ring," I tell him and he sighs in relief. "You remember some things though right?" "Hayley!" I look back seeing Tim and Klaus growls. I felt something pass me and spun around. "Wait! Don't hurt him!" I begged Klaus seeing his hand in Tim's chest. If he heard me he didn't show any signs. "You took her from me. You made her forget me. I'm only making her remember me." "She'll remember you as a monster." He grunts as I notice Klaus had tug back at him. "Klaus." I whimper feeling the tears come. I don't want him to die. I love him. "Better her to remember me like that than not to remember me at all." He says and I gasped as he pulled Tim's heart out. It fells and I cover my mouth as the tears slipped over. "No." I run shoving him away and holding Tim. "No no please come back to me," I whispered sad.

I was laughing as Tim drove his car and pulled to a stop sign. "Once we get there. I want to show you something." "Okay," I told him looking out the window. My eyes locked with blue ones and I sat up straight. I turn looking back as we drove. 'I know him. From somewhere.' The sun was setting now so I must have thought I saw someone else. "Something wrong?" "Ah no... I just thought I saw someone." He chuckles and I turn back looking over to him. "TIM LOOK OUT!!" I yelled before the car smashed into the side of our car. I don't remember what happened next except the impact. I looked over out of it seeing blood coming from Tim's lips. I groan and breathe out. "Tim." "Hayley..." I smile and grab his hand. "I love you. I love you so much. Don't leave me please." He groans and I can hear how he was breathing. He squeezes my hand and I smile. "You'll be alright." "Don't lie to me. Hayley...I love you." I bite my lip trying not to cry. "I love you too." His hand releases mine and my eyes widen. "Tim! Tim!!"

I held him tighter crying before feeling my shoulder blade and collar bone burn. I stood glaring at Klaus. "You! You killed him! You did this to him!!" "I was protecting you!" I narrowed my eyes and slapped him hard. He growls before slamming me into the tree. "Hayley!" I look at him and take a deep breath in then out. "I hate you." I growled and hurt flashes through him. It hurts me. I looked him in the eyes before feeling everything come back. I gasped as his hand goes through my shirt and his fingers wrap around my heart. "Stop...stop..stop...Klaus why are you doing...this." I whimper out and grab his neck digging my nails into it feeling pain. "Stop it." I whisper and look to him trying not to feel it. The anger slowly vanishes from his face and he grabs my shirt not moving his hand off my heart. He tugs down as my hand drops to my side. His eyes widen and he lets go and I collapse to the ground feeling my chest heal itself. I look up at him scared. "No Hayley. My God, I didn't mean it." I flinched away from his touch and ran. I made it back home running to my room and locking my door. I lean against it feeling scared. Why did he do that? He saved me but why is he trying to kill me. "Hayley!" I flinch at his voice and run hiding knowing I wasn't stronger than him. The door opens not a minute after that and I watch as he walks into my room. He opens my closet and I close my eyes shut. "Hayley." I open my eyes seeing him looking at me. "Come out please." I found myself crawling out from under my bed and he stands up, coming toward me. I back up hitting the wall and he traps me the moment I was hands reach. "I'm so sorry Hayley. I didn't...I was so angry." "You tried to kill me." I whimpered out and he pulls me into a hug. "I know. I don't know why. I wish I did but I don't. I was protecting you. And then... you just made me so mad." He growls the last part and I slowly wrap my arms around him. "You were protecting me from Tim?" I asked softly and he kissed the top of my head. "Please don't hate me." I look up at him and smile. I sit both of us down and take his face in my hands. "I love you. You've done horrible things and I've realized that." I looked into his eyes searching since I was on his lap straddling him. His hands rested on my waist not moving. "And I forgive you for everything. I forgive you because I'm your soul mate and I love everything about you, Klaus. I never want to forget that again." He doesn't say anything but nods. "Say something." "I'm just appreciating that damn witch for a moment. I'm glad your back." I laugh as he flips us so I was on my bed. He kissed me and I smile against his lips before kissing back. I reach up fisting my fingers through Klaus's hair and he places his hands under my shirt and starts to lift it. We break apart just long enough for both of us to take each other's shirts off. I flip us and he grabs my butt and I feel a purr come from me. "what was that?" Klaus asks and I smile at him. "I don't know." I kiss him again and he chuckles pulling me closer to him as he sits up. He unclips my bra when his phone rings. I pull away and he groans. "Ignore it, love." I slip it from his pocket seeing Damon calling him. "Answer it." I tell him, clipping my bra back on but don't get off him. He growls so I answer it and hand it to him. He takes it and I smile leaning to his neck biting on it with my human teeth. "What Damon?" "I turned some folks so Jeremy to kill. Come on." I look at him confused by this and he rolls his eyes wrapping an arm around me. "I'm busy." "You're not busy you just don't want to come since you are following Hayley." We look at each other and I shake my head. He smirks and speaks with Damon saying he would be there soon. I watch him hang up and wrap my arms around his neck. "So my brother?" "Is one of the five and has urges to kill vampires. Elena stopped him from trying to kill her but I don't want you around him. Nor do I want to leave you when I just got you back." I smile at him. "Well, should we have Damon take care of it?" "He'll keep calling if I'm not there." He says and I roll my eyes. I peck his lips feeling the heat that I felt before come over me. "Then go." He grabs my waist and I look into his eyes. "He can wait a little bit." He says and unclips my bra. I kissed him after taking my bra off and lifts me into the air as he stands.
