As blessed by Suryadev, Aditi did become pregnant. But it was hard for her to endure the urja of the entire sun and worried whether her son will be healthy or not.
To protect her son from all the troubles and suffering she observes various kind of fasts and worship. Seeing all this Kashyap gets upset, and advises her to take care of her health, rather than stressing her body by observing too many fasts.
This could cause miscarriage and is not good for the foetus as well. On this Aditi tells her husband not to worry much, as her child is a blessing of god and no power can destroy it.
On the auspicious time, Aditi gave birth to Surya, but she was too weak to even look at her glorious son directly let alone pick him up.
"Devi Harihareshwari ! Sahayta kijiye !" Aditi prayed. Soon Amarsri appears in front of her.
"Devi, mere putra ka tej mere liye asahaniye hai....meri sahayta kijiye." Aditi requested.
Amarsri smiled as she looked at the crib which was glowing because of Surya. She went there and picked the baby up as the light dimmed a little.
The baby smiled at her making her chuckle.

Aditi too comes and stands beside her, now able to see her child.
"Jiska tej itna divya hai uska parakram kitna divya hoga ?" Aditi muttered.
"Samaye aagaya hai Surya, paap ka naash karne ka. Adharm par dharm ki jeet ka. Ab tak Daityo ko Surya se jeevan mila hai, kintu aaj woh issi tej se bhasm hojayenge." Amarsri said.

Suddenly the baby started glowing in a divine light which flew and stood in front of them, taking a form of divinity.

"Aagya de Mate." Surya asked.
"Surya, jao aur yudh samapt kardo." Aditi said.
"Jaisa aap kahe." Surya bowed.

The Adityas and Daityas were engaged in a battle while. And because of Vajrang the Daityas were getting upper hand.
"Tum humse nahi jeet sakte Indra !" Vajrang said.
Suddenly the Daityas felt immense heat and and saw that there was a blinding light coming towards them.
"Yeh kya hai !?" Vajrang asked.
"Suryadev." Indra said as Surya jumped in the battlefield.

With so much urja and heat in the battlefield the daityas started running away but were unable to and were reduced to ashes.
Diti who was spectating the war, could only hear and remember one thing that Amarsri said to her.
"Apne putro par itna bhi ahankar mat karo Diti. Kisi din yadi mere putro mai se koi ek ran-bhoomi mai khada ho gaya, toh aisa na ho ki daityo ko chhupne ke liye koi kona na mile."
