A month went by and all seemed to be good. Actually, great. Vance and me would hang out at night. No, not just have sex, but actually got to know each other better.
His favorite color is green, he would love to travel to Italy. Vance also told me about his parents and his childhood. Not once was I thinking at all our relationship was wrong in any sort of ways.
By two weeks later I had to go back to school. You don't know how much shit I missed. Pages after pages. Books after books.
Vance ended up helping me, we even stayed up all night finishing a psychology book, I needed to read. Painful.
Lee didn't really look suspicious about the situation anymore. He's been talking with Meredith and his mom. Seriously, I couldn't blame him.
If my mom ever showed up for me I'd run to her in a quick second.
As for Joe, he's been visiting everyday for at least two hours. Him being my brother I told him about Vance, surprising he forgave me in a matter of three hours.
I told Joe that he couldn't tell anyone. No one.
I told myself it was a stupid idea, but Vance is worth my while. Sounds cliche, I know.
"Dorothea." Vance announces, knocking me out my gaze.
"Yeah?" I answer back.
"So you made me lay down on the ground to look at stars just for you not to pay attention to any of it?" He chuckled.
I bit my lip. "It's not what it looks like." I say in defense.
"Of course, it never is." Vance rolls his eyes.
I lay my head in his neck, cuddling up next to him. "You know Lee isn't that dumb. He'll figure out-."
"What that I'm fucking his best friend?" He smirked.
"Jesus-D-Don't put it that way!" I shriek, hitting his chest.
"What?! Seriously, I kinda am.."
"Forget it then Mr. Smartass." I fake smile.
