 I woke up in the infirmary. There were people standing around me. I didn't recognize half of them. At first I was worried that we got captured but I was calm after they said that my dad was coming. I stood up and walked outside of the tent and looked around, there were buildings littered everywhere with people walking around and minding their own business. I was amazed but most of all, I wished that Nate and Nick were here to see it, I knew I had to forget about them, they were gone. I heard footsteps and I looked in the direction that I heard them and saw my dad. He looked different from when I last saw him. He was for sure rested as the dark circles under his eyes were gone, my breath hitches in my throat

"Annabeth" he said with a smile. I didn't know whether to keep my distance or hug him, it'd been so long

"Dad" I said, before I knew it my neutral expression turned into a massive smile especially when he hugged me.
