I Love You Most

Your POV

You woke up after a brief period of time and noticed Loki staring at you while holding your hand. You smiled at him with a slight weakness "Hi..." You barely managed to say. He looked at you with helpless eyes "I am so sorry my love." He started to plead before you put your finger to his lips to quiet him. "I'm fine. I'll live." You said with an attempt to chuckle causing his eyes to show a slight heartbreak. It was easy to tell that he blamed himself for what had happened. "Loki... Please" you had began to say before Odin walked in "ah she's conscious" he said walking towards you. "I'm Glad to see how quickly you are recovering. We currently have half the kingdom searching for Sigyn and Malekith. Had we known she was working with him, we would have taken her presence much more seriously. For that my dear, I am truly sorry" the king said in a genuinely sincere tone. Loki didn't even glance towards Odin he stayed looking at you. "The ointment that was applied has almost closed your wound. After it is finished, you should rest in your room, Loki you should do well to accompany her and stay there. I have guards set up outside the door as well as the balcony. Please take her there now." Odin finished before taking one last look at you then Loki and walking out. Loki continued to look at you "I'm sorry.. " he repeated "Loki, it isn't your fault. Relax " you said before he pulled you up to an embrace. "You will not be harmed ever again. " he whispered as he tucked one arm under you and began to lift you up. He carried you to your bedroom, waited for the guards to open the door and he walked in with you in his arms. Loki put you down gently on the bed and then lied down next to you. "I love you Loki, stop hoarding so much guilt" you said as you turned slightly towards him, brushing a piece of dark hair out of his face. "I love you most. " he responded.
