"Did you enter my brother's office?" Splendorman worriedly asked. I raised my eyebrow.

"Yes, Zalgo was there too."

Sally who was filling up my cup with tea had widened her eyes. I managed to grab her teapot before she spilled.

"Is the war f-finally here?" She asked as her eyes were getting watery.

Offenderman shook his head. "Slender invited him over to see if they could make a peace treaty. I doubt it'll last seeing as Zalgo has been wanting to kill us for centuries."

I turned over to see Sally's expression. To say the least, she was petrified.

"Don't worry Sally, he's not gonna hurt you or any of us." I took a sip of the tea. " I'll make sure of that," I mumbled. I looked down and realized I still had my legs crossed.  I uncrossed them hoping no one had noticed it.

"It seems we taught you well about being a formal lady for your mission," Trenderman chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah well, that wasn't necessary. Derek fell in love with me since he saw me. Speaking of which, you purposely made me wear a black dress to stand out, didn't you?"

"Yes, that was the point."

"Tell us about your mission!" Sally exclaimed once again.

I knew it was best to leave things unsaid, especially in front of her. I didn't want their pity nor their worries.

"It was pretty boring. For four days I was stuck listening to Derek's plan and attacked at the right time."

Offenderman placed his hand on my shoulder " Did you use my venom?"

"No," I lied. I didn't want him to worry if anything else happened. "Derek was a gentleman which made my mission easier."

"I wish you didn't have to get stuck in the airport for your birthday though. Imagine the party we could have thrown!" Sally said before drinking all of the tea in her teacup.

If they only knew I slept through most of the day probably healing my wounds...

"Sally, you know I don't like celebrating my birthday. Yesterday was just like any other day."

"But it's not every day when you turn 18!"

Trenderman nodded his head."Plus we thought you died yesterday."

"All because Ben didn't mind his business," I muttered with hatred.

"If you died, Masky would have replaced you and I would be trained to become a proxy like you!" Sally exclaimed.

Before I had the chance to reply, Slenderman teleported in front of the door. Due to my instincts, I quickly stood up from my seat.  The Slender brothers saw my reaction before standing up as well.

I gulped as I silently prayed Zalgo kept his mouth shut. If he told Slenderman about our encounter from yesterday, it's game over.

Splendorman was the first one to speak, "Brother! How did your meeting go? I hope you both were managed to agree on a peace treaty!"

"We both decided not to go to war anytime soon. We won't have a problem with him as long as he won't be foolish enough to take a step in my forest or my mansion. The same thing goes to us, we cannot trespass his kingdom only for business purposes." Slenderman answered him.

I felt relieved knowing I wouldn't be encountering Zalgo any time soon.

"There are a few things that I need to discuss with my fellow brothers. Y/N, I want you to fill out the mission reports as soon as possible." Slenderman teleported away after he announced it.
