The lake

The avengers are out having fun at the lake by Tony's house. They try to get you to swim not knowing your have a phobia of water.

Y/N's point of view
"You know we don't have to go, we can just stay here" your girlfriend said. She was sitting on the bed by you. She knew about your fear of water. The avengers planned a day at Tony's house to swim at the lake. You were fine with swimming. It's just the lake. You could never see anything in the water.

"No it's ok, plus I wanna see Morgan" you said smiling. Your girlfriend nodded and went to get ready. You packed some clothes only for her. You weren't gonna swim. You packed a blanket and pillow so you could lay down on the ground.

"Babe! Come on! We're gonna be late!" You yelled for her looking around making sure you had everything

"I'm coming! I'm coming! Jeez!" She yelled back coming out of the bathroom seconds later

"Oh really you're coming?" You asked her with a smirk

"Oh you and your damn dirty mind, let's go" she said putting on her slippers and grabbing everything she needed and going to the car with you following her

You guys sat in comfortable silence with the radio silently playing music. You guys had arrived at Tony's cabin and saw everyone already there. You got the stuff out of the car and walked towards them with Nat.

"We're here bitches!" You yelled out holding up your stuff while laughing. Everyone was laughing, some of them already in the lake. You looked at the lake and saw how dark it was. You definitely weren't going to swim although you were going to swim anyways.

"Bitches" you heard a small voice say. You turned to where you heard it and saw a child.

"Morgan no" "bitches" "no" bitches" "I give up"

You laid the blanket down and put the pillow on it. You laid on the blanket with your head on the pillow. You sat back up.

"Wait" you grabbed the sunscreen from your bag and put it on

"Don't wanna turn into a chicken nugget" you said rubbing it on your arms, legs and face

"The hell did you just say" Clint said a couple of inches away from you.

"Nothing" you laid back down. You didn't have to worry about putting sunscreen on your back cause you were wearing a shirt. You never really wore bathing suits when you and Nat went to the beach or lake with the others. You were just wearing shorts and a shirt.

You took the phone that was playing music on the speaker and started putting on some 90's r&b.

"Now this is what I'm talking about!" You heard Sam yell from the pool

"Love! Never knew what I was missing! But I knew since we start kissing!" You, Rhodey and Sam were yelling the lyrics. You pointed at Sam for him to continue the lyrics

"You" Sam sang softly until his voice cracked at the end. Everyone started laughing.

"I'm gonna go help Maria and Pepper with the food" Nat said

"Ok" you said giving her a kiss on the cheek as she walked away

You sat back down on the blanket grabbing your camera.

"Everyone smile!" You yelled as you took the picture when everyone was looking towards you. You looked at the picture and laughed. Sam was making a weird face. Peter was a smiling like a puppy. Steve looked so confused. The twins were smiling putting up a peace sign. Bruce didn't even have time to turn, he was blurry. Tony was floating on his back. Thor was smiling so big like a kid with both thumbs up. And Morgan was sitting on a floaty not even looking.

You looked at Fury who was in charge of the grill.

"Oi eyepatch! Smile" you said and took a picture as soon as Fury turned around. He didn't even smile, he was mad at your nickname for him.

"Hey Y/N! Come in!" Thor yelled to you motioning his hands for you to go in the water

"No I'm good!" You said as you shook your head

Thor got out of the water and started walking towards you while grinning

"Thor no. Thor. No. Thor no stop!" You yelled as Thor grabbed your hand and tried to pull you up. He ended up picking you up

"No wait Thor! Put me down!" You yelled at him slapping his back

"Calm down, it'll be fine" you heard Thor say walking towards the dock

You looked up and saw your girlfriend with a worried face. She came outside when she heard you yelling. When she saw you in Thor's arms by the water she started running

Steve saw her face and his face immediately went from laughing to being worried to

"Thor put her down!" Nat yelled

"Thor no!" Steve also yelled but it was too late he already threw you in the water

You were scared. You didn't know what to do. You felt like you were sinking and you couldn't breathe. You were panicking

"Y/N!" Nat yelled

Steve swam towards you and picked you up and put you on the dock. Nat came up and held you. She rubbed your back with her chin on your head.

"It's ok. We're ok. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere" She said sweet things in your ears to calm you down.

After a couple minutes you calmed down. You were sitting on the blanket with Nat when Thor came up to you two.

"Lady Y/N, im so sorry" He said a couple feet away from you, he stayed far from you not wanting to hurt you

"Thor it's ok, you didn't know" You said and gave him a gentle smile

"Thank you" You said smiling towards Nat

"Anything for you" She said smiling back putting your hands in hers and holding it
