ROOHI.

"Why don't you just let Daadu decide," he smirked as he left with my hand in his.

"Was that Veer's mom?" I said breaking the silence in the elevator on our way toward Daadu's study.

"Hmm,"

"Oh. So Veer is your competition. I thought Vivaan was your competition?" I said trying to know more about him.

When we see from start to end. He knows everything about me. From up to down. But I don't even know how many elderly cousins he has. To be precise I don't know anything more than his full name.

"Vivaan holds an entirely other Company and Business. He manages the main business. I hold on to the entertainment industry. And elite people. The Nobles. Vivaan is Vansham's competition and Veer is mine." he said as we reached the floor. I nodded as he again started to walk with me. And not once he left my hand.

We entered the study room with so many small plants and books I saw Grandfather near one of the shelves.

"You got married?" He asked as soon as we stepped in, I took a deep breath. "When? "

"Before I send her off to study."

"In one day?"

"Daadu it was a court marriage. Just that I bought the court at home." He said as I raised my eyebrows. He is a good liar.

"Court Marriage?" Daadu asked as he raised his eyebrows.

"I send you a copy of our marriage certificate."

What?!!

"When and where?"  Daadu asked as I too wonder. How did he fabricate such a big thing?

"You don't check the papers I always send you...Do you?" he asked changing his expression into something I couldn't guess. "See, Daadu even you don't care what I have done and what I am doing or what I'm going to do. Then what gives you the right to get mad at me?"

Do they all dislike him?  Why?

"Does that means you will forget your duty as our grandson? You got married and you didn't even bother to tell us. But send us papers. Is this how you should behave?" He yelled at him. Not even denying what Rudram said before.

"Who should I tell Daadu? Daadi, who hates the sight of me? You, who doesn't even care if I'm okay or not and at the same time you love and care about every other grandchild of yours?"

They all hate him.

"Are you trying to frame us as culprits?"

"Than am I? " he asked with his eyes fixated on grandfather's eyes.

And Daadu shoved him.

"So you are not going to do a big wedding?" Daadu asked cutting the point as he turned away.

"A wedding is held when we have someone to be happy for us. I don't have one," he said to Daadu as he nodded. And went to a high shelf with his ladder and threw some bundle of papers down. Which were covered in dirt. And he started to go through them.

As he removed one bunch of paper, he went through them.

"You did, got married without our consent."

That bunch of papers is his work and effort.

But what the hell he fabricated a marriage certificate?

I saw Rudram and his eyes were just resting on the bunch of paper. He has kept it like garbage. "You believe me now. And you know that I don't want to get married with broad arrangements," he said as he started to leave with me.

I did not bother asking him anything since I can feel that he wasn't fine right now.

"Those papers aren't fabricated. I made you sign them along with your name form," he said as my eyes widen and I realized what he was saying.

"You tricked me?" I asked him stopping as he was dragging me in a room. After the elevator.

"I needed to convince them before anything was placed. It was just for them. You were not meant to find out. I wanted to get the paper sign properly with you now that's why I kept saying that we need to get married again and again." he said as there were too many things for to me intake right now.

"We,  we are married? You - you and I - I am already..." I was out of words as she shooked me right out of my thoughts

"That doesn't change anything. It was just for the family. According to us. We are still unmarried. I never put the sindoor on you or the garland. It was just paper."

"No, it was not just paper. I always thought I had one thing left but now I'm finding you even took away that from me. "

"Because I had no other choice-"

"NO, BECAUSE YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE!" I yelled at him getting out of control as I turned to run away but he grabbed me.

"We will do it properly."

"No. No. It's better this way. At least you didn't put sindoor and garland on me with that nasty hands of yours. It's better that I never have to touch you again." I said to him as I threw him away from mine.

Yes, I was feeling bad and pathetic for him.

And I get it that this is what he had to do. It was his situation demanded after I saw how his family behaved toward him.

But this is wrong. This is completely wrong. I went into the elevator as it started to go down.

And as soon as I reached the floor. I saw Veer coming in. But he didn't let me slip away from the elevator he made me walk back and back as he tried to come closer to me.

"I never knew Rudram has such a beautiful choice in a woman." He said in my ears as the elevator closed and he pressed the last button.
