Peter runs a hand through his floppy hair, "What the actual hell." I fake smile and shrug. "I'm just as confused as you," I said.

Peter comes to sit on my bed next to me. He's careful to avoid all the sticky stuff, which is kind of hard since it's everywhere.

I'm in a hospital robe, so I shift my weight, so that I don't reveal my body, because of the skimpy robes. Don't want to show Peter anything.

"H-how?" Peter stutters to me.

"Well, apparently when we were in Bruce's lab, one of the spiders bit me. That spider had the same molecular formula yours did as well. The avengers took me up here to help after I collapsed and they figured I was just having a seizure, so they left me to rest. Then, this happened. They still don't know that I'm like you now," I sigh.

"Like m-me?" Peter stutters again. I smile and nod. He's cute when he's confused. "Oh my god. We have to tell Tony right away," Peter says to me. I nod.

Peter alerts Friday to tell Tony to come to my room. When we wait for Tony to come, Peter helps me. He teaches me how to separate the web from my wrist and how to aim and shoot the web well. He told me all the abilities I now had. It was very useful information. I guess I'll need this for later, although who knows how this will end.

Tony comes running through the door with Wanda floating behind him and Shuri walking super slow behind them.

"What happened???" Tony said gesturing to the spiderwebs around the room. I smile sheepishly, "It's a long story." Tony crosses his arms and waits.

I sigh and tell him the whole story. From when Flash pushed the button, to when I passed out. Tony just looked at me and nodded. When I finished he looked kind of shocked. "And so now we think that I have the same abilities as Peter now," I say.

"Well then, that's interesting," Tony says, "And just for the future, Flash Thompson will never be an intern here. Got that Friday?" "Yes sir," Friday responds. Peter smiles, happy that he will get revenge on his bully.

Peter soon remembers the problem at hand and looks at Tony, "Tony, what do you think she should do?" Tony ponders for a second and comes to a conclusion, "Well it's her decision, but if she wants she can be like you," "Like me? Like a superhero?" Peter says incredulous.

I stare open-mouthed at Tony. A real superhero? Like Peter? I would love to help the world! (And look badass doing it). But then I remembered Peter. I knew he would not let me go out and put myself in danger every night. Heck, he barely lets me out of his sight. I know that's sweet and all, but my best friend doesn't need to be that protective over me. I still knew he wouldn't let me go, so I had to find a way around this.

Peter left saying he had to do homework (of course he wasn't far, he was just in the room across from mine). I was personally relieved he left. Don't get me wrong, I love Peter, but I needed some alone time with Tony.

Tony was about to leave, when I stopped him. "Wait Tony, I need to ask you something," I say. Tony narrows his eyebrows at me, urging me to continue.

"So, I really want to become a superhero like you guys, but I know Pete won't let me, so I proposed a plan," I said, "How about, I wear a costume and save the city by night and keep being Gwen by day, but I want you to help me. I don't want Peter to know about any of this, so I was hoping you could create a fake lab test that would tell him that I lost my powers and I no longer have them."

Tony looks at me surprised that I want to keep it a secret from Peter, but eventually he gives in. "Okay, I'll help you, but how will you cover it up when he hears or sees you with your abilities as a superhero?" Tony asks. "I already thought about that. I'll just tell him that it was probably another one of our classmates who was also bitten, but maybe didn't show their symptoms as soon as I did," I respond.

Tony ponders this for a second and then sticks out his hand, "Alright, how about you come over here on Sunday and we can work on costumes and other things? And remember you can not tell anyone about this, otherwise all your loved ones could be at risk. Deal?"

I stick out my hand to shake his,

"Deal."
