"Are the other students here were as nice like you here?", Mina inquired to him, a curious smile etched on her lips.

The boy seems to get flustered and your eyes was the one he caught as he scratch on his neck, "I don't think it was connected to our tour, Ma'am"

"Wow, you just have been called Ma'am, Mina", Sera chimed in, trying not to laugh at the other girl's reddening face in embarassment.

The boy smiled apologetically, he backs away from them a little, ending up beside you and throughout the remaining time of the tour, his gaze sometimes wandered in your direction; in your perspective, he find it certainly strange of you not making an effort to be noticed by him.

The calming breeze softly entering through the open windows was the only sound between the two of you in the back of the group.

He took a deep breathe and began to talk, "Is there any questions you'd like to ask? You have been quiet since the start of this tour?", his voice is truly melodius, but you only stood straight and mute.

"If you were too shy to ask, you could go to me and I can help you all the time", he started, giving you a pleading look just to actually help him when it was obvious that Mina and Sera is targeting him again.

It was like giving a stranger a peek in your heart and the vulnerable look in his face was the one you'll never forget that time.

But there were some things you had to do against your friends in order to make yourself happy.

"Of course", you agreed with a winning smile, letting him lead you into the library. "Lead the way, Sir"

He sighed. "You can call me Jake, instead of Sir. My name is Sim Jaeyun", he said, now turning up to grace you a friendly smile. "What about you?"

"My name is Y/N. It's just a boring name", you told him, and yet the boy's smile only lightens up leading for your heart to lower than the bottom of the well just as the two of you finally made way for the fictional section.

There was no doubt in your mind he was trying to distance himself from the girls as your original group is directed towards the historical section. But coincidence is not just the stuff of fiction; it's the stuff of life as well. He was going to a stop in the fantasy shelves when you see their library owns a leather-bound copies of J.R.R Tolkien's works.

Pushing past him, you raced for the book. "Is this for real?", you asked aloud, not quite managing to stop yourself before you reach for The Hobbit. "My school could never acquire this!"

He looked away from the other books, smiling vaguely. As difficult as it is to believe, he looks like he actually knew it. "Do you love reading it? Have you watched all the movies?"

"All of it", you prompted, flipping to the first page. "But it's a problem the Silmarillion was never considered to be created as a movie"

He kept looking at you as if he was flicking through his memory without coming up for a match, but he nodded slowly, "Ah, the one about the first elves who first stepped in the Middle Earth. Galadriel is my favorite out of them"

"Glorfindel is the best for me", you started softly, hearing the lingering grief for the character, "It was such a lost for the LOTR fans not to see him in the screen"
