"hi skylar! i'm nini." i say as i bend down to see skylar eye to eye. i had just arrived at the park. "hi nini!" skylar says. "she's adorable!" i say to ricky. "i know right." he says. he gives me a soft kiss. "bleach!" skylar says. ricky and i laugh and skylar goes back to the playground. "so what did you get for my christmas present?" ricky asks me with a slight smirk on his face. "i'm not telling you." "please?" "only if you tell me first." "u-uh never mind." i gasp dramatically. "you don't have my present yet?" he stays silent. "it's okay bubs." "i just thought of the perfect gift for you. i promise i'll get it tomorrow." i giggle a little until i see a certain someone walking towards us.
ricky "hey jacob." i say as jacob walks towards us. "hey." he says. "what are you doing here?" nini asks not making eye contact with jacob. "i was walking home and i seen you guys." "oh." skylar walks over to us. "i'm hungry." "you wanna go home and eat?" "yes." "who's this?" jacob says. i look at him and he looks shocked. "this is my sister." "ohhh!" "yeah. we're gonna walk to the car." i say as i pick up skylar and walk to my car.
nini "nini-" jacob says. "no. i'm not doing this right now." i say cutting him off. "you can just walk away!" he yells. "i'm walking away right now." i turn around and start walking to rickys car. "nini-" "jacob. you know i have a boyfriend." i stop and turn around to face him. "yes i know-" "i can't do this right now. i mean what do you expect me to do?! i'm not breaking up with him! and you know that would break his heart if he knew. so please just don't i- just don't." i continue walking to rickys car. when i get to rickys car he rolls his window down. "you okay?" "y-yeah i'm fine." "no your not." "ricky. i don't know how to say this. and please don't get mad at me for not telling you right away." i rub my eyes. "just say it." "food!" skylar says from the backseat. "i should probably go." ricky says. "okay bye. i love you." "i love you too." he smiles. i go to my car and ricky drives off.
