it was the first day of school. ricky and i had been dating for about a week. this was my outfit.

i was going for a casual but baddie look. i was on my way to my first class. ricky had ran up behind me. 

"hey babe!" he says walking next to me. 

"hey!" i say. 

"is that my sweatshirt?" 

"yes. i took it from your room. don't expect to get it back. and thanks for walking me to class." i say as i give ricky a soft kiss and go into my classroom.

during lunch i had a few people come up to me and ask, "are you that girl from instagram that wrote apocalyptic crush?!" but what really surprised me is that the verified girl, carrie blue, came and sat at my table. i was sitting with all my crackhead friends but carrie was really nice. this was the girl mylie had a crush on.

school was over. i had been thinking. i want to record and release my song. but i have to ask my moms. ricky had driven me home. i hadn't talked to him about releasing the song. i'm pretty sure that he'll be cool with it.

"so, now would you feel if i recorded apocalyptic crush and released it? as a real song." i ask ricky as he drives me home.

"your actually. thinking about doing that?" he asks.

"yeah!"

"i definitely think you should."

"well i'm glad you think so." he stops the car right in front of my house. i give him a soft kiss and grab my backpack. 

"i'll see you tomorrow." i say getting out of the car. i close the car door and ricky rolls down the window. "can you pick my up tomorrow?"

"yeah sure." 

"okay thank you. bye!"

"bye!" 

i walk to my door and get my keys from my pocket. i unlock the door and open it. 

"moms! i'm home!" i yell as i close the door.

"hey nini! mama c is at work." mama d says.

"well can i ask you something? i want to ask mama c to but since she's not here i figured i should get your opinion first."

"go ahead."

"how would you feel if i actually recorded a song and then released it?"

"i think that's a great idea! but you know mama c is going to be skeptical about it. she doesn't really want you in the music business."

"well can you help me convince her? please?" 

"okay. i'll talk to her about it when she gets home."

"thank you!" i hug her and go up to my room.

i haven't looked through twitter in a while. so i decided to do that.

a few weeks later
i've been recording the song for weeks. i was just about to make the announcement about my song. it's coming out tomorrow (friday) at midnight. i'm so excited! i was in my room getting ready for bed. my life is going great. i have a terrific boyfriend. great friends. and everything else, is great!

i'm so happy and excited. i never thought i'd be here.
