Today's poetic form is the Japanese "Katauta"! It's a three-liner with a syllable pattern of 5-7-7 or 5-7-5. It is considered a half-finished poem and when paired with another Katauta the first verse acts as a question and the second as an answer, which also forms a "Sedoka" -another poetic form. The poem is usually addressed to a lover.
why do I lose sight
every time you arrive
as if you're the sun himself?
witnessing the light
what a blessing to receive
or a curse for it can blind.

Interesting form, I definitely want to re-do it better next time tho!
